He froze... awkward moment, because the woman cop was out of order if the 1st place. When you want to know something about a person, they should ask in private and he should have went with her and not his colleagues.
He wanted it the where he spent time only with her and not them, but didn't know how to say no to his colleagues. He just need a wise person to explain to him what he did wrong and how to have that talk with her about what he wants to do, which is be is a real relationship with her.
Shows how most men assumes you are their girlfriend w/o asking you to become their girlfriend. Thank goodness for this movie and this particular episode. Will help out alot of people courting.

Amazing psychological romance thriller
The scene starting at 36:30 is so touching. Captain Xing and Dr. Mi are near to each other but can't reach each other. The actors' expressions are so good, conveying love with looks at each other. There's so much they want to say to each other but they don't have time. "Take care' in this case really means 'I love you' in this case. His salute expresses the respect and admiration he has for her dedication. It's so beautiful...so romantic in a non traditional way. That's why I've enjoyed this series so much...the acting is very believable.

I was in a similar situation being a forner rescuer myself so I can really relate on the scenes and situations being shown. So far, this is one of the most realistic drama showing humanity at its best. Even civilians can learn a lot from this and can take note of what we have to do and prioritize during events like these. I got teary-eyed when the areas and people that were affected was shown. This is where the importance of a well planned rescue and medical strategies matter side by side by a functional and effective human interaction and inter-agency cooperation, either from public and private departments were showcased. Memories of my old job and the rescue missions that we had during the big earthquakes in the past all came back to me. The storyline and true to life adaptation was very good and even the characters were all well played. Thank you so much to the researchers, actors, directors, staff and writers for giving life to the story. "YOU ARE MY HERO IS TRULY WORTH WATCHING". Sandra Ma, Bai Jin Ting and the rest of the cast truly delivered well. Very touching!
