@@_Francois1 I’m just starting this no code journey. If you are looking to create an app, then Adalo might be a good option. You can submit directly to the Android and iOS app stores. It looks pretty intuitive.
The excel spreadsheet example you use was very simple what if you had a more complicated excel spreadsheet though was not in a row but it was throughout an excel spreadsheet could the software do the same thing and created app?
Awesome. I discovered a similar system about 6 years ago and have created 3 apps using Google sheets for myself. I have a serial number listing that I think I will try Glide with in the near future.
Great app, i would like to know if its possible to have more than 500 entries per app (i'm working with more than 15k entry) i just want my team to use it as lookup application for items, another thing is it possible to export it as apk as a standalone app?
I developed an engineering spreadsheet to size piping based on a few parameters. I would like to develop an app so my engineers can log in and use it on their phone or their mobil device. Is this possible ? I would like them to use a fresh version and not affect the basic version on my computer
Hi. Have you got your automations to working on your app yet? I'm trying to make a mobile app with automation because excel mobile doesn't allow macros. Cheers.
nice vid we manage 50 properties here in Texas. I wrote a management/invoice app in sheets. I am interested in glide, but need handwriting recognition for a tablet …. Any advice on the Hand Recog for Google a tablet?
I'm From Sierra Leone. Thanks very... A Friend of mine hint me on this, but it's now that I've started getting into it. But the video needed to be longer than this considering the importance of the topic... I suggest you divided it into parts. Example Part A or 1 Part B or 2
FYI to listeners ,,,,,,, Glide charges $1,188.00/year if the source is an excel sheet!
Is that a good price or bad?
Adalo is free with a Google Sheets (free) upload...
Damn...
Thanks for informing & saving our time, 1188 dollars & close 1 lakh INR, way to cheap other options are already available for the same work.
@@mohammedzabiulla4787 Like what?
Keep in mind Glide is for internal use, it’s not something you would use to develop an app you hope to sell as a SaaS product.
Alternatives?

One of the most useful videos I have seen on YT in a long time. Thank you for demonstrating this.
Glad it was helpful!

That would just depend on the specific circumstances. Give it a try!

Sounds cool. Let us know how it goes.
I've used other platforms and Glide is my favorite by far! I think you'll love it 😊
What are you using, do you use glide too? I wanna know if it's possible with similar system without 3rd party app

I suggest asking Darren on channel.
15k rows is definitely doable, however Glide cannot be exported as an apk.

I suggest looking at Darren's channel and asking on one of this videos.
Sounds like a great use case for Glide!
Thank you! By using Glide is it possible to resell the solution?
Yes, it is
I went to Darren’s link in the description to download his guide. The form asked for my name and email address but the guide was never emailed to me.
Thanks for letting me know. I passed your comment on to him.
Hey Dwight, make sure to confirm your email address, then you should the goods delivered! 😉(also check spam!)
@@DarrenAlderman Thanks!!
Very cool. Now, I need to make an automated budget app with notifications... :)
Go for it!

Glide has a signature component if that's what you are looking for!
Just what I needed.😊 Thank you!
You’re welcome 😊
Can you charge money for an app
I would think so but send a message to Darren if you want to find out more.
Wasted my time watching this.
You should state at the start it cost $60 per month just to be able to use Google sheets in it
Some people pay for software. We were showing what it does.
Yikes! Thanks for saving me the time!

Oh yeah!
Very nice bro ❤

Truly amazing video. Just something that I was brainstorming during this week and voilà.... :D
Glad you liked it. Darren's the man.
I tried glide for few minutes, and gave up, because that is for skilled developers nothing, for newbies too complicated.
Ooof
I tried Glide but their website doesn't work so that's that then
Still works for me 😉
I ended up going back to notion
Is Darren single?
Better ask him!
