And that statue gets placed in the "Heisman Park". When you have so many winners you can build a park to put all of the statues in so the fans can check them out.

I’ve been an OU fan my whole life. It was the first sporting event I went to, way back in 1984. When I was stationed in West Texas I got so much flak for wearing my OU hat or Jersey. I wish I got to go to the OU vs. UT but could never get the time off when I had the cash for the tickets. This would be awesome to check out. I lived in OKC and only managed to make it out to the campus/ball field.

30 years ago I worked for a contractor who worked on the locker rooms. We used to get the keys from a guy who lived in an apartment underneath the east side stands. Don’t know if it’s still there but it was then. Pretty mice except no windows.
