Wow!!! What a fantastic voice! This is another Fuji Musician in the the '80s era that confirmed the fact that Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister was the Fuji Exponent, and the first Fuji Musician... Nice Job!
My people please this man needs our help and assistance no amount of money is small but he needs helpers to make him feel better and great again God bless us all 🙏
God bless you My uncle from Egba, Gen. Wahab Ilori, his voice sonorous and highly intelligent. He even admitted that Alh. Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister is the Mr. Fuji . May God bless you and your generation
The album was released in the late 70 while he was on pilgrimage to Mecca and Mecca. It like Jamboree on Olowo Street Mushin wher he was born the day the Album was released. Alh.Wahab Ilori Famuyiwa hail from Abeokuta Ogun state, he's still hail and hearty residing Aroud pleasure Bus Stop Abule Abule Egba .I believe he's in his 60's.
He sings like Kollington actually but arranged his music similar to Barrister's style. He was a hybrid Kollington, Barrister and a bit of waka style. If he had stayed long enough to create a unique style of his own like K1 did he probably would have remained at the top of the game too. However, there were many forces that inter-played themselves in their era, the competition was fierce!
You can't sing Fuji or other yoruba traditional without being diabolical. The system quiet fierce and dangerous. in the 80s over 50 Fuji artists were competing only few could progress to 90s . By mid 90s. All of them are too fetish. Only those God favour that made it
I believe that this song actually clarified the whole argument about who is the creator of fuji music.... Because i personally don't believe that wasiu ayinde has even started his musical Carrier when this song came out.
@@AdebayoSalami-i9xhe called him Fuji exponent. This is nice Barry is the Fuji creator according to the first Gen, in Fuji before Killington got his own from abacha and this is the man kebe n kwara was referring to in his abusive back to send
@@kusimozacheus1265 No, Monsuru Akande was not the 1st fuji musician. Barrister was the 1st to wax record in Fuji. The record Monsuru Akande and Barrister waxed on the same day was 3 minute record and it was ajisari not fuji. Also, Monsuru started playing Were/Ajisari 2 years after Barrister started. It was after Barrister named his music Fuji that others followed to call their music Fuji. It was only Dauda Epo Akara that refused to call his music Fuji but Awurebe.

Wasiu Ayinde is a baby by then early 80 and late late 70 , Even Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde confirm Monsuru Akande role play in Fuji creation
He never mention SAB as fuji creator but called him Asiwaju awon because he belong to his faction then

Wow! He looks so young. He is probably 22years here.
I believe this is not the same as the Ilori that died while singing on the stage.
The Ilori that died is Lateef Ilori and he did not die on stage
He sings almost like Barrister. Very similar pattern
