Thank you for the lovely September almanac! Though frequently I feel melancholy around this time, it's still one of my favorite times of the year. My Mother's birthday was the autumnal equinox, and every year we would use the last of the summer's berries and flowers to decorate her cake. It's been 3 years since her death, but I still bake a cake each year to remember her and celebrate the end of summer.
I’ll look forward to the super-moon on the 18th so thank you for that reminder. I have felt moments of melancholy so far this September and I have no idea why because I normally embrace the changing of the seasons. I intend a trip to Cardinham woods in the next couple of weeks to help remedy this.
