How can you defend someone, when you don't know what the truth is? I respect Russell a lot and this does feel like a fabricated attack on Russell. However it is possible that 2 things can be true at once. This could be targeted against Russell but back then he was a bit wild so the accusation could also be true. We can NEVER know the truth, as we weren't there. As a Muslim it's also important that you don't unwittingly behave in an unjust manner.

I've been watching Russell on TH-cam for over 10 years now. I admire his intellectual honesty & integrity. He doesn't just hop on whatever bandwagon happens to be passing by. He's also sympathetic to the plight of palestinians. Russell Brand is a real one, & I will continue to support him through this matrix attack
I worked for the Met Police for 18 years and was forced to resign because I was a practicing Muslim. The last 5 years became untolarable because I encouraged other officers to pray and practice their faith. Towards the end I was being called a terrorist and so forth. My complaint against the Sergeant and Inspectors fell on deaf ears and ignored by the commissioner Mark Rowley. Even my solicitors were ignored by him. The Met has a phrase saying "Not In my Met" And so I was targeted and towards the end I had resign. This is the West and their double standards.
May Allah reward you for prioritizing your religion over your job, and may Allah punish those who treated you unjustly.

It may not be exclusive belonging to one ideology or belief but could it not be said that some are more likely to do so than others. Treating these acts as equal across all sectors of society is simply not correct. I'm not saying which ones but surely certain types of belief, those that spread total solutions (eg communism and religion) and those that don't like questioning and offer threats of hell are surely much more likely to attract the types of personalities that will commit these acts in the name of the one, true solution. When has anyone ever commited such an act in the name of humanism?
