I love the T-Rex, but at that price, ($66,000) it ain't gonna happen. There is no reason in hell that the T-Rex should cost that much. Campagna is gouging the market to get what they can while the getting is good. With so many people out of work, (almost 40 million on unemployment) Campagna is going to have to lower their price substantially if they want to continue to sell the T-Rex in America. I can get a BMW Z4 S-Drive M40i for about the same price. Does anyone believe that the T-Rex can compete with that car in style, power and electronics? It isn't even close. Even the Kawasaki 1441 CC engine they use which comes on a 2020 NINJA® ZX™-14R motorcycle, only makes the bike worth about $ 15,000, that's about $51,000 difference. not sure on the other reviews but the Can Am has terrible customer support & maintenance support around my area in the panhandle of Florida. One friend bought his Spyder and it has spent more time in the shop than on the road. I would be very leary buying one. but that is me.
I picked up a used Spyder about 2 years ago. The only advantage was extending the season by a couple months. Not a fan of the handlebar steering. If it's supposed to have the motorcycle vibe, then it should incorporate leaning like the Yamaha or Piaggio. The others have it right using a wheel if the actual steering setup is rigid like a car. The Harley(and trike Gold wings) are not as stable and aren't as good on tires. My biggest gripe with electrics is the extended time of charging in public. Even if there were enough chargers at a location, the whole process is time consuming, leaving one vulnerable to the money harvesters and vandals that frequent carparks.

And if I already had one, maybe ANOTHER ONE in a different color, But NOT that thing. How much can 1,000 lbs of stuff be worth? It's not like it goes to the moon or underwater. Or overwater for that matter. LOL Do the Japanese think a lot of themselves OR WHAT? They can't even sell a car for that. Harley is crazy at 49. I understand motorcycles, that was my main transportation for years and I loved the ability for lane splitting, great advantage to parking, and better on gas mileage. The spider doesn’t seem to have these pluses but does share the disadvantages of getting beat up by the wind always trying to tear you off the bike, mediocre carrying ability and open to bad weather. I test road a Can Am early on because I wanted something a little bit more stable for riding with my wife (don't have to put your feet down, no worries about wet leaves, oil spots, or gravel, etc...). It is a totally different kind of riding experience. I can see it being popular for those who maybe aren't as proficient at riding a bike or are a little older and want something easy to ride, which it is. I think the bottom line is like you said, it is a matter of taste. There are definitely some benefits that it has over a bike, but I don't find them nearly as fun to ride. I ended up getting a Slingshot instead of a Can Am. It is a different experience and I use it as an everyday vehicle as well. I still prefer my bike when we have a chance to leave the city. One of these days I want to purchase a toy hauler motor home and may reconsider the Can Am, but only the RT model (more like a touring bike) . For sure it would be really nice as a secondary vehicle when RVing or something similar that would never have occurred to me.
After riding Harley's 50 years, 10 orthopedic surgeries on my legs from a accident on my Harley and reaching the age of 70 I am no longer able to hold up a two wheeler but I still want to ride. The Harley Tri-Glide is very cumbersome and a $40,000 price tag is a joke. I love my Spyder. Have ridden it nonstop from Michigan to Tennessee and back on numerous occasions. It has plenty of horsepower and is all usable. Have ridden in the rain doing 70mph. What it boils down to is old bikers such as myself are still able to get in the wind and do it safely.
Most of these three wheelers have all the negative sides of both worlds. They are as wide as a car, but you are exposed to the elements like on a ordinary motor cycle. You have the dynamic of a motor cycle but you cannot lean. Conclusion: I better get a car and a motor cycle.

I can definitely imagine the advantages while packing a passenger that’s a good point.
The trikes are all good but at those prices, you could as well get a car.
It's an option too. Which of these did you like the most though?
But I do not care because I will buy a fully loaded 2020 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited anyway.
Arcimoto seems most practical.
You forgot the Hudson stinger introduced in 2007
I love them all!
Hard to pick just one of these indeed.
Trex best looking by far!
Awesome ,but kinda pricey
Can am and the microleta are top. T-rex is cute but overpriced.
Those are all nice picks ;)
Price noted is obviously wrong for the Yamaha Tricity 300.
Important !!! UPDATE !!! on the pricing for the Yamaha Tricity, it should be $9,300 (£7,500). Apologies for the mistake
Typo!!!? Yamaha's Tricity was listed as only $3000!!!?
I want one!!!
Which one?
I have it on my wish list. Not a particular of course but I do have a type/style. I am not looking to buy one yet of course.
$3K for tricity? It's nearly £8K in UK
The prices are ridiculous! What's wrong with the manufacturers?
t-rex is the one i would go for
It's an amazing choice
Most of these three wheelers have all the negative sides of both worlds. They are as wide as a car, but you are exposed to the elements like on a ordinary motor cycle. You have the dynamic of a motor cycle but you cannot lean.
Conclusion: I better get a car and a motor cycle.
Do you see them having any benefits though?
@@automotiveterritory
Nope! That's why I own a car and a motor cycle. But I'm scheduled to go for a test drive with a Yamaha Niken.
2 wheel lifestyle 4ever
like from brazil !!! 🤗🙌🙏💪💪🇧🇷❕
Hello to Brazil! Which of these was your fave?
Heee Brazil greetings from Rio Grande do Sul 😁
T-Rex RR all day long... I'll even trade in a cat walk super model for this Tri wheeler!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's a great model indeed. Are you planning on getting it for yourself?
Always liked the idea of the F16/F15 canopy enclosing a trike. Rear wheel also enclosed to the improve aerodynamics. Keep frickin dry also....🤣🤣🤣
That's true. We all wish it was always sunny outside so vehicles like these could be properly enjoyed. It isn't always the case though ;)
Why not include the Boom Trike from Germany, it is the bestTrike on the market, very pricey but you get what you pay for.
It's a nice suggestion, thanks
missing the original 3 wheeler - Morgan
Yes, it's a nice one. They even announced a new model this year.
Why does not the Japanese brands make a competitive trike to the HDs?
What kind of specifications do you think a machine like this should have?
@@automotiveterritory V twin, 110 cu in approx. , reverse gear, independent suspension (Harley’s do not have this)
Priced under Harley by $5000
Would be nice to see a machine like that for sure
