Watching the bison kill that poor bear cub had got to be the funniest and saddest thing I have seen in this game EVER. And I've been playing anniversary edition since launch day! Although there was a time where I was just following a pup around during an eagle attack and despite being RIGHT THERE the eagle grabbed it and went off. Still the hardest I've ever laughed at this game hands down.
12:00 you hit the B button, which toggles a more playful stance. Shift + B is a playful jump with you can do with your mate and puppies. B + any tail wag is considered a greeting
I sorta headcanon Silver to be a survivalist. Obviously she didn’t intend for the bear cub to be killed, but I don’t think it would bother her too much. Woe is life sorta thing. She’s clever and uses animals bigger than her to her advantage. I also think that this incident proves that perhaps she’s a little cold toward her future pups. She still loves and cares for them fine, but she knows there are cruelties of survival and that’s just something that she’ll have to bare. But we’ll see where her journey takes her as we get to know her a bit better!
That makes sense, as she isn't too hung up about her pack's past. She seems optimistic, but yeah, not too grief-stricken by anything that may happen to her pups.
Seri I have a tip, wait til one of the elk to fall because they lose damage when falling and do less damage on the floor. And when you chasing pronghorn chase them for 10-15 minutes to tire them out and fortunately one of them or multiple will stop running
8:10 One time I was hunting a fawn mule deer and its mother was trying to kick me, then I dodge the blow and the mother hits the fawn (it was halfway through life or more) and it dies... Yeah... The mother killed her own son
12:00ish You were play bouncing. New feature added in the Saga update. You must have pressed B (key that activates it) instead of V when exiting scent view. You can play bounce when you have pups and get them to play with/chase you. Or just bounce around to amuse yourself, because it's just plain fun. XD
The cub death by buffalo has happened to me too! It really shook me up, but now I try to keep my carcasses wherever Buffalo spawn so they can defend it from enemies. Bison have also hit disperal wolves trying to escape from my territory and that cemented in the fact that I LOVE THE BISON!!

Tho I feel as if she wouldn't feel to guilty for that bison suddenly charging at the cub! Rather it would change her perspective on how dangerous bison & bear are when competing with each other, and if she comes head to head with one! it was almost as if a example showed clearly the strength between the 2. I think she would make a mental note, and now have a better insight on which battles she would want to take and she certainly wouldn't misjudge the bisons horns, and or the bears claws and teeth. I am so enthusiastic and excited to see her future mate and the generations she will carry alongside him! she is probably one of the most magnificent wolves to be the heir carrying on the starry skys pack.💞
Poor bear cub! May he/she rest in peace.. though it's also interesting that the bison can even kill BEARS of all things in game. But it makes sense... after all they can kill wolves in game ofc. I've had coyotes get trampled and killed by elk herds I've chased in game SEVERAL TIMES and it's HILARIOUS!
Not sure if this particular update happened while you were still actively playing, but elk, especially weak ones, now tend to slow down, and trip and fall. Best strategy is to chase after them for a while, and pay attention if any lag behind, or even better if they fall down.

Bear mothers are very protective, so because she lost that cub so fast and the fact they were the only cub (left?) is kind of sad.
