So the concept is alien wolf pack, right? They have arrived on earth (Tokyo’s Shibuya Crossing is the backdrop they’re using here) and trying to blend in with humans. But they’re aliens so they dress, walk, and act weird. And of course as aliens, it’s natural that they come with superpowers - telekinesis, ability to change size, flying, teleportation, speed, mind control, etc.

This sounds like a 2016 American/British summer pop release to me??? The melody in the background of the chorus reminds me of a sped up version of Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO and it makes me feel all nostalgic and happy! Anyways the vocals here are STUNNING! This song felt like they combined Mascara, TGIF, and New Dance. It’s such a fun song especially the choreography. We all known they always have fun but this one is different. It’s SUPER FUN.
I have theory that this new mini album coming is like a twin or a b-side of New DNA. I know Woke Up is a single but it has the same feel of GRL GVNG and Something Ain’t Right has TGIF all over it. Knowing Simon, this is the crazy it’s going lol.
Their vocals are insane as always and I love Cocona’s parts. Amy’s line “knock knock who’s there? Its your whole life” is such a catchy one. That’ll live in my head for awhile. Jurin, my goodness and Maya’s too.
Hinata shrinking and growing to a giant felt like a metaphor of her growth. From being the most quiet and reserved member to the most loved, confident and noticed XG member since debuting.
Chisa and Juria’s contrasting tone and range always serves. They just never miss.
Guys, stop complaining about Hinata’s parts. She has parts, just pay attention to what the camera does. The same with Amy, she has some vocal parts.
And also, for the ppl who’s gonna see them later this year at their concert. I think we’re the lucky ones cause we will see this live and maybe Undefeated as well.

I feel like there's more here than meets the eye. This track is an absolute bop for sure. But it made me a little uncomfortable too, for some reason. Something is definitely right here but something else isn't intentionally. You don't do a track like this with a video like that and expect no one to ask questions. The choreo is weird, no? You're reaching too far it not that deep, if you known xg since debut you will know that they don't make an mv according to the song.
I feel like they have messages that some people won't get, in some of their songs. That's not a reach but a compliment so I ask myself that question whenever they drop a new track. Plus they have plenty of tracks that fit their MV's so don't use that, it's weak at best. The only reason I ask the question is because it feels like it means something or it's just dumb. One or the other and I'm not leaning towards dumb in this case. But maybe you're right who knows?
