What a cute card. I love the glitter card stock you used. I just bought Cricut glitter card stock so I can make this all except for the gold poster board doily. Thanks for all the complete instructions to make this card. You make everything look so easy. I just started to really use the Cricut Design Space and made a card with black and white paper to make a piano keyboard. The design space made it so easy to space all the white keys just perfectly and I could cut them out as one unit for the white and one for the black. It was so much fun and so rewarding how it turned out. Is there a way to share my saved projects with someone else or use save projects from someone else?
Linda Jamme you can share projects as long as you use Cricut images. All you do is click save. Name the project. Make sure the public option box is checked then click save. Now click on the project name and copy the URL. Anyone you give that URL to can now open that project
Thank you Lorrie for the tip. I didn't expect you to get back to me lickity split like you did, but thanks. I really appreciate that you share your knowledge.
You can do actual raised paper embossing - just using the Cricut Explore stylus tool normally. Lay a craft foam sheet on the mat. Lay cardstock on top of the craft foam, taping the corners of the cardstock to the mat to hold it in place. For a heavier embossed look lightly dab the cardstock with a VERY LIGHTLY dampened cloth after taping it to the craft foam. Change image of choice to score. Set the dial to CUSTOM choose Corkboard, Adhesive backed 1.6mm or for softer cardstock use Craft Foam/change material setting to 2x. There..you are all set to go!! (for now the image can be 2.45" wide due to the white plastic gripper rings - height is not affected - enough space for many creative raised paper embossing tags, border, embellishments) Have FUN
