I hate that Frisco was not honest with Felicia. Hate how GH already was setting Frisco up as a loser of a husband. It just spirals down after he joins...he never gave Felicia a single thought.

Frisco would’ve never left Felicia for the WSB, they couldn’t recast Jack Wagner so they turned him into someone he’s not! Down the road he’d never leave her or the children they had down the road! Untrue to who they were to each other! I love ❤️ them I hate what they did to them! I was never so happy after they said he was dead and when he showed back up for her I was never so happy! They were the best!

Love me some F&F/J&K. However, in the episodes leading up to Frisco leaving for WSB training, often felt that J had already checked out of GH, emotionally. Once accepted to the WSB, Frisco made it clear he was anxious to get started. Fairly certain he had tunnel vision where HIS mind was focused, making it difficult for him to have a lot of sympathy for what Felicia was experiencing and J's Frisco mostly going through the motions 'til his exit. Plus the fact that K was also dealing with the loss of her acting partner, who had been her anchor since she'd arrived on GH and her character had the demands of remaining on screen. She was struggling. (At the 'going away' party, Frisco remarks that everyone was happy, why wasn't she? Hello!?) They are coming at, and seeing, this situation from completely different places (as actors and characters) . Sad times. 😢

He was wrong. She told him don’t leave her out. He should have told her about the meeting. She should have stopped talking about the danger and told him she doesn’t want him to leave. He left so you are not the most important thing.

For those who aren't watching GH in June, 2024...an episode which ties into this clip: (Diehard F&F fan. I've never followed Felicia & Mac)
    062024
Mac is back on GH (JJY back from medical leave)
(Wasn't aware M was working with Frisco. Did Felicia know this? Was it ever divulged on the show what M was doing during his long time away? Being Frisco is no longer head of the WSB, in what capacity was he working with M?)
Paraphrased (had no interest in listening to this more than once...left me feeling both sad and angry)
M&F are making out on the sofa at Maxie's. M shares that he and Frisco talked about Felicia and the girls. M says he found the conversation liberating. (Felicia is very teary.) Frisco gave M an honest accounting of the mistakes he made with Felicia and the girls, didn't whitewash his behavior about leaving his family. Felicia observes that this must have been an awkward conversation.
M: It was, but in a way, liberating for both of us. Frisco is grateful to me, thanked me for being a father to Maxie and Georgie when he wasn't. I think he really understands how much he missed out on. I made damn sure he understood how extraordinary the three women he left behind are.
F: Hearing you talk about Frisco makes me realize how lucky we are to have you in our lives. You've made so many sacrifices, Mac, just to step it up for me and the girls, and I'm sure there were times when it would've been so much easier to just take off, start a family of your own.
M: Never, never. You, Felicia, you all are my family. I never wanted anyone else.

I kinda feel bad for Jack wagner because every time he leaves GH they wrote Frisco as a sh!t character.
Here he doesn’t care about his wife. Not even married a year and is already out the door. In 91 he leave her on the docks. He literally blinds side her with him leaving. In 94 he doesn’t even wait tell Maxie is out of the hospital. It’s heart transplant complete gotta go. In 95 Frisco tells Felicia and Maxie his home to stay. Felicia doesn’t buy it but his 7 year old daughter does then breaks her heart when a new mission comes along and once again he is out the door. And the way they wrote his character in 2013 I don’t think he will ever comeback.

I don’t feel bad for him one bit. If they did recast a lot of stories and characters would have turned out better. Everytime he left it was because of his doing other things or their real life issues.
After rewatching a lot of these clips from 1984 and on through the years I realized a lot could have been done differently. I loved the characters and the actors and the clips bring back great memories. That was when I was younger.
In retrospect GH could have recast him after his surprise visit in December of 1987. I now feel GH catered way too much to their real life relationship from 1989 into the 90’s and him leaving for other shows. It handcuffed the writers and basically ruined both characters in 2000 and beyond. They should have recasted Frisco when he came back from prison. Perfect time to do it.

I always wish they had brought Frisco back when Tony died... but more importantly when Lucky was kidnapped or they thought he was dead in 1999... then also when
Robin was presumed dead that’s one Frisco should’ve come in as the hero both times

Frisco you don't care about your marriage...if you had you would have talked to Felicia before talking to the WSB. Robert told you this will take you away...this is going to be your life. Felicia will no longer comes first. Frisco don't compare Robert, Sean and Anna they definitely failed in the relationships department. If you want to end up alone then keep doing what you want...we all know this does not end up well between you two. I always felt you two should never have married or at least have one of you die.

    • @famouslastwords0791HR

Agreed. I felt that Robert and Anna were both deeply scarred by what happened to them. Their mistake was truly falling in love. Anna tried to get out but couldn't. I'd always wished she'd just told Robert. He mentioned one time on the docks that she should've just told him. He was so crazy in love with her, maybe they'd have had a chance.
Frisco was unwise here. He kinda knew he'd destroy their marriage.

Gosh, Frisco, you're telling this girl who lives and breathes for you that she's your life but your ACTIONS say differently. This was s terrible scene to watch. And then he does all he can in 89 to win her back and does the EXACT same thing two years later! I never liked Colton but looking back he would've been better for her. If we could help who we love that is.

He left in 91 at Jack’s behest. He admitted on a podcast he left because working and living together was hard on their real life relationship. I knew he would never be back as a regular after that though he did come back for BJ’s story and to meet Georgie. That is where they could have saved the character by recasting with Matthew Ashford. I know a lot of FF fans will think I’m nuts but it would have made sense. They brought him on as Tom Hardy to hit on Felicia instead. I thought they had enough chemistry to pull it off. That was a major miss by the producers in my opinion.

@@JG-ue2cvI agree with you on everything you wrote. Kristina and Matthew did have chemistry more then she had with anyone else that she was paired with after Jack
I always thought that if the recast didn’t work out then send him back to the WSB.
The writers didn’t stay true to who Frisco really was not only is it a shame but lazy writing.

@@mookie7215From what I remember when I first watched years ago and rewatching now, Producer Wes Kenney and those who followed didn’t know how to write for FF. Gloria Monty mastered their love story from 84-87. Ironically though she didn’t master it when she returned in the early 90’s.

Physical cracks me up talking about Anna Robert and Sean who are not low level WSB they gave up a lot in the beginning you don’t see Sean with any relationship until he finally met Tiffany Robert and Anna didn’t make it
