The Presidents Cup returns to Canada and The Royal Montreal Golf Club this week as the U.S Team faces off against the International Team in the 15th edition of the event. Each team consists of 12 golfers and the competition will take place over four days - Four-Ball matches on Thursday, Foursomes on Friday, both styles will be played on Saturday (morning and afternoon) and 12 singles matches on Sunday. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler returns to action after capturing the TOUR Championship and winning the FedExCup for the first time. He’s still looking for his first Presidents Cup victory after going 0-3-1 in 2022. World No. 2 Xander Schauffele will also be teeing it up for the U.S Team. He claimed three points from five matches two years ago, including the tournament clinching point for the U.S Team. Schauffele may be teaming up with good friend and Zurich Classic of New Orleans playing partner, Patrick Cantlay, for several matches this week. The International Teams’ top-ranked player, Hideki Matsuyama, will hope to lead the line in Canada. The Japan native won twice on TOUR this season running away from the field at both The Genesis Invitational and the FedEx St. Jude Championship, but has been inconsistent in past Presidents Cups, with a 7-10-5 overall record. Others to look out for are Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Tom Kim and Min Woo Lee.

These highlights are so one-dimensional. It’s just watching good shot after good shot… I get it: professional golfers hit good shots. They could really do a better job of telling the story of how the match develops.

Agree. I do not want to watch 20 long puts go in the hole one after the other.

@@michaelboen2314 Every major American sports (NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, NHL) has a natural progression to their highlights. Which sport do you think is the only one that doesn't?

In all seriousness, who is the DBag that is flying that dumb plane in all of the tournaments. I think it's his thing. He was in Colorado in a blue long wing airplane, and probably the same dude. Internet, can we find this out?

International team hold your head high after that battle!!! With 3/5 match’s were tied going into the 18th hole. These groups won by Xander Schauffele/Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa/Sahith Theegala and Wyndham Clark/Keegan Bradley. Some of the heaviest hitters this season.

It is ridiculous that the US team is able to field the same team year after year. Ryder cup, Presidents cup, Ryder cup, Presidents cup, etc. If you want to even the playing field and find out how good you really are, maybe the format should be that if you play the Ryder cup then you do not play the Presidents cup the following year and vice versa.
