My son, too. There is hope, though, but not without trials. My son hit rock bottom in January after many years of alcohol and drug addiction. I prayed for years, and I watched him hit what I believed was rock bottom several times, but he always continued in active addiction. In January, he hit the worst of the worse. He lost his job, his wife, and his son. He finally got into treatment. He has been sober since. He is back in school, has a good job, and is working with the courts to get his rights to his son back. He and his wife have a friendship. I pray their marriage will mend, but that is still in question. I hope I have given you some hope. I will pray for your son. Please pray for my son's continued recovery.
