If I had to choose between these 2 phones, it’d definitely be the A23 5G since it has vastly improved everything on the A13 5G especially the screen with the faster refresh rate…. But, what I’d like to see Sammy do is produce an A series Flip and Fold phone for people who want a flex screen phone without having to take a second mortgage out on their house!
Both look to be excellent budget phones. I actually had the a13 5g and loved it except for the camera which wasn’t very good. But battery life was amazing lasting me a full day on full brightness and 5g all day. The a23 5g looks to have a better and brighter screen with 120 hertz, a better camera, a slightly better processor and a little more RAM. I’m heavily considering getting the a23 5g as it fixes the screen being slightly washed out and the camera sucking on the a13 5g. The only thing I’m curious about is with the 120 hertz if battery life is as good on the a23 or if if’s only slightly less. Because if it’s as good battery wise as the a13 5g then to me it’s an almost perfect budget phone.
I just got the a23 5g 1 day ago and started using it full charge at 4 am. By 2 pm I was at 34% from browsing, setting up my apps. While using the AR emoji, it said my phone was getting hot and would close the app but it only felt warm to me. This is without power save mode. I'm going to try that next. I'm a little concerned about that part but for most part the phone is pretty good.
I'm still trying to figure out why they took away homescreen looping and FM Radio. My first Android was a Samsung and it had both along with Dark Mode when other brands except LG didn't.
Yeah on the a23 colors appear more vibrant and natural looking. On the a13 5g it looks lifeless and dull looking wash out as stated in video. And it's 1080p on larger screen on the a23. Samsung messed up with 720p display on such a large screen like that and with that ppi oh my. I know what I am getting. Great comparison review video.
Samsung update policy. Flagships get 4 years software and 5 year security updates. A series midrange phones like a53 will get 1 year less on each. A23 will get 2 year software and 4 years security updates.
I still get security updates on my A50, and tab a10 2019. Both devices running android 11 oUi3.1, considering how light android 12 has been it's not too terrible, And for those who didn't get the memo, it's been 3 years and everything is fine.
From some of the questions wanting to know which is better, either they were not paying attention or lack the ability to figure it out.🤷🏼♂️ Must be our schools today teaching students what to think instead of HOW to think.
I have a galaxy s9 and it no longer gets software updates and boy it's slow and glitchy.. is it worth switching to the a23 5g or should I stick with s9 I'm a big phone gamer i play apex legends mobile and cod mobile i just can't afford to buy a galaxy s22 but anyway love to hear anyones feed back
@@l-ls.6105 bcuz I have a business that requires more of a business model phone and the A23 limited my capabilities to work off the phone which A13 has all essentials needed for the business
Does anyone get a weird multitasking glitch on the OnePlus n20? (Almost exiting an app a previous app a pears for a split second and then it turns normal.) Anyone? Or maybe something similar while multitasking.

120hz screen uses a lot of battery just like other devices but the pros is you have fluid screen when moving around and higher fps on games.
I appreciate all the information. The A 23 definitely is the better phone. Thanks
I honestly just don't understand why Samsung removed the fingerprint sensor (button) from the A33 and A53..
Cuz it's on screen and a more premium feature. What's hard to understand? Are you a child?
it's not really removed, more like moved. It's in the screen on the a33 and up, this is a feature for the more "premium" phones of Samsung.
@@Yveeeeeee im talking about them removing the sensor from the button from the higher A-Series phones.
I'm still trying to figure out why they took away homescreen looping and FM Radio. My first Android was a Samsung and it had both along with Dark Mode when other brands except LG didn't.
Wow, what a difference in screen quality. Definitely saw the washed out display when you opened up the camera. Thanks for the comparison.
No prob boss

Hey techright do both phones have Always on display??
I'm pretty sure the Galaxy A13 is also featured with Gorilla Glass 5 from what I have researched.
I think my old A50 even has GG5, can't see why the new phones wouldn't since GGcortex or something is the highest rated one atm
@@Daniel-dj7fh Right.
Does the A23 have image stabilization on just video or also photo. I have a tremor and could use it on photo also.
To be honest I like both these and it will probably be a tough choice to buy one of these phones
witch is faster the A33 5g ? ore A23?
thx allot

A23 for $99 and A13 for $69 on Boost Mobile right now.
Tried Boost and had a bad experience with them. I refuse to go back.
I was with Boost at one time, and their service sucked really bad, so I switched to MetroPCS.
