I just read that Ms. Franklin's home went back on the market for $750.000, after being sold 6 months earlier to Mr. Kellum for $300.000, and with little to no upgrades! I'm curious to know what happened? Why wasn't the property fully renovated as planned by Mr. Kellum before placing it back up for sale? It truly is a beautifully situated home with tons of historic beauty. I hope that someone buys it this time, who actually sees its value, renovates and modernizes it to suit some perfectly suited family, and donates the historic items left behind by Ms. Franklin, to a museum of some sort where they can be appreciated. The are reselling the house because of the water damage and its 92 years old so it will cost millions to restore it. That’s not what they want to do. He made his funds now he wants to move on.
It should have been a museum
I believe it's in good hands with Anthony Kellum and his mortgage co, thank u, Anthony.
I heard it had extensive water damage was the reason she wasn't staying there but I believe they have gotten it restored now.
A very Beautiful Home!❤

Very stately. I've seen photos of the interior when owned by someone else, and it was very classy.

No, she died in her condo down by the river. She hadn't lived in this house for many years. Hydro, water, gas had all been cut off for a while.
Beautiful if the bed is still available I would love to buy it
