I think it would make sense that you get more views when you have makeup on. I know that I naturally am more likely to pick a video if I enjoy looking at the person’s face a lot. You are by no means unattractive or ugly without makeup on, but makeup is designed to heighten the looks of people and make them more pleasing to the eye. You are beautiful without it as well. I appreciate that your love for your son comes first. All that being said, you’re actually my favorite ASMR channel. I don’t watch it a lot but I enjoy how genuine you are and you just calm me. There is an instinct in men and women to attract a mate. Most of our day to day decisions is about looking a certain way to attract a mate. Even if you have a partner, you still seek to attract a mate. Wearing makeup or going to the gym and anything are just steps to reach the goal.

I’ve never been into makeup. I don’t think it’s good for female self-esteem. I think human instinct is to be attracted to natural humans but that cultural socialization and porn and barbies and magazines filled with hairless women, can alter our instincts negatively. But looking and being natural is supposed to be (and still usually is) what’s most attractive for humans. Solfrid, you must remember - men have sex with the space between their mattress and their box spring, with refrigerator doors, with pumpkins, with Gatorade bottles, with their pet dogs and cats, with dolls, with pillows, with medicine bottles, with heated plastic bags, and with _so much_ more (these are literally all things I’ve heard various men share on various podcasts and interviews that they’ve had sex with)! So if men can have sex with such objects, it’s absurd to think that a woman needs to look poreless and unnatural like a mannequin or a doll with cartoon perfect breasts for a man to become aroused. Possibly if he’s deeply brainwashed and obsessed with images of women from porn that may become true, but mentally healthy heterosexual men are simply attracted to healthy female bodies. If anyone ever makes you feel not good enough for looking human, you should minimize the time you spend with them because that’s a mentally unwell person.
