Dylan Zrim personally I’d try to get a r1 motor or something out of a rwd racing quad most of the newer ones have reverse and there’s a trans you can buy for the r1 motors that has reverse people r1 swap quads all the time

When I bought my incurable smart diesel on safe-mode, I ended up doing left hand donuts t on a very bumpy park, to cure the auto stabilisation module. It has been fine ever since the little wavy 'hairs in the module were stuck and it took the bumps to clear them, it had been sent to copart because nobody could fix it.
I'm not sure what made this come up as a premiere, but I'm not a fan. When I'm ready to watch a video, I'm ready to watch!! Waiting for the video is rough! ❤️ You guys though.

A trailer tongue jack with a swivel wheel attached to the trailer hitch would be perfect. Jack it up to take the ideal weight off the rear tires and enjoy the donuts.
If you have an icy environment, the donuts and burnouts come easy. Been there, done that. It's rumored that you might be able to get an MR2 motor in there.
You have to turn off the traction control to spin the tires. Hold both dashboard buttons in before you turn the key on and then hold them for a couple seconds after the key is on. The traction control light should be flashing. This also turns off the ABS. The ECU throttles back the power when the traction control is on and you're not gonna be able to do a burnout like that.
On my 06 Smart diesel the traction control will chop the throttle if one wheel spins faster then the other. Not sure on your gasser but maybe worth a look. Great for a laugh when we all definitely need one!!

Did you Not get the Turbo Version of the Smart in the US? The Brabus Version makes 102HP stock With a Upgrade Turbo , free flowing exhaust , intake and a good ECU tune you get around 160-170HP Out of it. And a TCU tune shortens the shifting time alot. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
You need to turn of the traction control and it will do a burn out also they sell a control that plugs into the obd port and lets you control the acceleration its fun i had headers cold air intake and that control it was a fun little car went off roading at the beach.

Maybe POR15 has changed in the past few years, but it used to have zero UV resistance. Maybe two months after I applied it on my e30 in some spots it had greyed and was beginning to peel.

How about a 1.9 diesel out of a MK4 VW Golf or Jetta? You can find them for super cheap, toss a bigger turbo on which again will be cheap because stock is so tiny, then a higher flow fuel pump and a tune. You can crank out well over 300 ft/lbs out of those and they're stupid reliable and I'm the cars they get around 50mpg even with all that done.

That's very easy, hold down buttons either side of speedometer as the electrics are turned on until you get engine started

1980 Kawasaki motor with either a big bore kit or full out drag motor. Used to do 9’s with my big bore kit and 7’s and 6’s on full build with a turbo
Get the bargas brothers to come and help you Rotary swap it and put a turbski on that
Ecotec with boost, Chrysler 2.4 (SRT with upgraded turbo?), or some small Honda motor. Or if it’ll fit, a Cummins 4bt with a big turbo kit.
B16a2, h22 or k20/k24 swap. Pfi will know what's up and that light weight chassis will be a beast .
