Don't forget get that the new seasonal Beam weapon breaks the Skill shields. I found that leveling it up really helped with farming in public lobbies. Being able to down shields when your with other players who aren't necessarily properly set up really helps
Roughly 6-8 hours of nonstop void runs for dog and Keelan parts, frankly i need a break from void vessel after day 1 of season 2 lol. glad we got the new content, grinding for all the parts and now to lv up the dog is too much void vessel for my tastes. That said i am happy with season 2 so far and very pleased with the reactor changes, pity system, character buffs etc. Big thank you to the developers!! 😊🥰
Id like to point out that the new season weapon voltia is amazing for taking down the barrier bubbles on enemies and the boss…also takes out the generators and barriers too
That's dumb honestly. The game has a balance issue due to mediocre design. Devs found a way to somehow balance it by adding a mechanic. Devs also "give" a weapon, getting rid of the mechanic. Back to square one. Well, at least it'll be less visual noisy than greg, so I won't complain. But still...
I managed to get all the necessary blueprints on Day 1, but it is a bit of a pain. I was not happy with the random chance for the rewards. I didn't use the pity system. I wish there was a way to choose whether to get the data vaults with Keelan blueprints ("shield" vaults) or the ones with the Fellow blueprints ("paw" vaults). With it being random, I had to do more runs just to then randomly try for the particular reward that I needed. Now, to get the remaining blueprints for Ultimate Sharen...then I'll be done for the season?
I wish they would increase the keys that drop from the final boss in Hard mode. It is annoying to find about 12 or so boxes and not have enough keys to open them all
The only problem I have with unlocking Keelan is that the mats I need drop in such low quantities that I have to run that dungeon over and over like 50 times or something like that. Just nutty
Vary the way you play. Use different descendants and do different game modes. Can’t get a drop go do something else or get off the game. Basically stop beating your head on a wall.
Resource boxes: Broken - always open need no keys Genetic - Can give blueprints for the food you need to level up Fellow Special - Give material for the food Experimental - Materials for Keelan Might have experimental/special mixed up (Check your access info)
The data vaults you get at the end of the Void Vessel have the same droprates for Keelan / Sheepdog on hard and normal difficulty, except for the Intact Data vault which you can only get in hard difficulty. So, I guess once you have the code you could run normal to get the other blueprints, since normal should be quicker to complete. However, if you put either of the codes in the pity system you will get them after even 11 normal runs and you can roll on any of the other blueprints each time. There must be some kind of mathematically optimal strategy to running these. But since you need materials as well you may not be able to build them if you only do quick normal runs. This system is weird haha
Hard gives 6 keys, normal gives 4. Kind of cancels out for me as hard takes takes me about 50% longer then normal. My gut math says normal is probably fastest, but hard offers other advantages (like the new Hunter set).
Thank you for the head up , been farming for the parts for the dog and keelen on hard kept on getting gold , switched to normal mode and got them quickly .
Yes I've been searching to see if someone has done the math on running normal vs. Hard. It seems to me like Normal is the way to go. Hard can be too much of a grind if your team isn't setup right
@@jaredv5692 I've been at it a while, but purely on getting Fellow/Keelan normal might be fastest but hard is actually worth it more then normal. Aside from the Hunter set you get 2 more keys, but what is more important then 5 instead of 3 keys is that those keys give so much more. For example the special storage gives 3 protein on hard, but only 1 on normal. You need 12 per food (to level up Fellow). So it's 12 keys on normal vs. 4 keys on hard. Might be an idea to save keys one gets on normal to use on hard.
Did the grind yesterday, got all the dog parts and materials needed with duplicates. However, I only got one piece for Keelan. The good boy was heavily favored in my RNG.
I had a mentor in the 1980s. He was a former chancellor of UCLA. When I was 13 in 1984 he told me to make a "Bucket List". I did over 134 things and everything on that list! Also, I remember having cellphones in the 1980s, just like the ones we use today. Then they were gone, and forgotten.
Also I'm still wondering why this mission has a normal difficulty with level 44 gear that they insist runs separate from the main campaign. So, new players are now sidetracked into this system, when they're still leveling through Agna Dessert. Only to grind heavy for Keelan or Sheepdog maybe without having all the material to craft them in the end? Seems more like a noob trap. Wonder what the devs were trying to get at with this.
dont ever open the oval green colored boxes, it is a waste of a key for just gold. If you're trying to get the materials to craft the dog, open the oval blue colored boxes only. if you want materials to upgrade the dog open the square blue boxes. red ones are busted, and you should always open them. I got all of the dog pieces well before I had enough of the materials to craft him, but I was only running normal difficulty since you can go through it so fast. Also, bring a beam rifle if you want to burn through the blue skill shields; beam rifles are handy since they also burn through the yellow firearm shields and the shielded doors and generators.
Going forward no matter how excited u are for the new descendants, features or weapons just complete some of quests. Don't ignore all of them get through a good portion to single out any problems u might come across.
I completed Anais side quest (involving fellow) it doesn't matter I have been getting all Keelan Boxes so far. About to farm more but just thought I'd share that
are you restarting mission after each run or going to albion and starting over? i found restarting would always alternate between Keelan and dog every run. but starting over would often make me get multiple of Keelan or dog boxes.
Have i been doing it wrong to get the dog and keelen on farming them in hard mode if there is no difference to the odds in normal mode ? getting no way fast farming them in hard mode.
I can´t progress the quest, doing the story mission after the 3rd wave of "wipe out the resistance around the area" in the 4th room, no enemy spawn, just silence (music too) i got in there with 3/5 thing to kill before.
That´s the issue, i´m totally locked i quitted the game for now, is crashing a lot and broke lots of working things on Season 1, about the skill on anything isn´t working is just broke.
I'm trying to get more descendent exchange tokens. It says sell blueprints at ET-O to get tokens. I sold a couple of blueprints but only got vouchers. Can someone help?
Not that some of these tips aren't helpful but the drones do absolutely nothing but spawn like a couple enemies that you can one shot the champion mobs are not hard to kill and the gun bubbles break so quickly that it does not change what characters are good Freyna is still one of the better ones because she's good at everything in the game and they just made the content harder so if it's harder for Freyna it's harder for everyone else. Oh and don't go into the dungeon unbuilt.
loot system in this game is just trash. over 100 runs still no venom injection. this mission = 50/50 chance to get the descendant box then at most a 15% chance to get the part you need (all i need is the Keelen code, but i instead am at 50th dogo code). when the main content is so easy its annoying just to get these odds, its not a fun time. 6:10 is 1000% not accurate. i got all the dog peices day 1 hour 1, still waiting to get the mats.
Don't forget get that the new seasonal Beam weapon breaks the Skill shields. I found that leveling it up really helped with farming in public lobbies. Being able to down shields when your with other players who aren't necessarily properly set up really helps

Did you run that on Normal Mode Or Hard Mode to get the dog and Keelan parts that quick?
Great guide! Thanks for the tips!

Dude, Voltia puts these on easy mode, build into it. Finally a season pass weapon that is worth it.
I can’t wait to get it loaded.
@TuxedoBandido its great! Loving it for the stupid shields.

Just want to add that the new beam rifle does damage to all the blue orbs in the boss fight.

So u rather they make the dog hard mode only?
How do I use the target system ?
i already have the fellow research quest, and only get keelan data vault
What I have experienced, I have the fellow research quest and I get more Fellow boxes running it Solo and more keelan with groups
Yeah its how it worked out for me by the time i got the dog done i had everything needed for key
For those who have already had a chance to start leveling up fellow: How much does each of the three types of "food" level up fellow?
I can't get to start the void vexxel exploration
When you get a resource box as a reward how do you access it?
I seem to only get the fellow vaults
How do you cash in the resource box? I got 1 and I never seen what was inside. Do I need to open it ?

7:30 valby can with her fourth ability teleporting
The Voltia rips through shields, arche or firearm
I both my fellow I still get to his boxes but mainly descendant
How do I get to the pity system menu
Go to info access menu. Option at bottom. Xbox is right trigger.

I’ve seen 2 Keegan vaults in 20 runs, rest have been fellow. It’s rough.
Once I crafted fellow, I never saw fellow crates.
