Rather than being frustrating or depressing, it's a goofy but extremely satisfying story about helping an alien throw Elon Musk into the sun. The rough-around-the-edges drawings and animations help with that I think -- it's the same vibes of an angry protagonist having unkempt hair, except it's the whole world.

this has genuinely become one of the most inspiring songs to me, not just in composition but in how the video was made and... well, just everything. the vocal synth scene is great all around with lots of variety, but i don't think you see a lot of english songs with this energy to it, nor in this genre, if that makes sense? ippo really combined the best elements of eleanor's voice and tuning with the sound of more classic vocaloid rock tracks, and that rings true for all of their music! it's really reminiscent of the emotive guitar and light synth you would hear in some early 2010s works. i always come back to oyasumination because it gives me motivation to do music in a similar realm, something i've wanted to accomplish for years but didn't really see anywhere else. thank you so much for making this song.
This song is helping me get over a breakup, actually it was the first vocal synth I listened to openly with him. He just broke up with me, but I feel like he never saw me for me and I only saw him for his core person, which he wants to hide. Shit, the tuning is godlike, the use of multi vocal tracks makes the lyrics sound rich and powerful, the guitar tone is just lovely, the gliding synths don't take up much of the sound but serve to enhance it really well, and MAN the drums are amazing holy shit, the rhythm changes a lot but the drums transition them so smoothly

The MV is such a dream on its own, no other style would have fit the song better than this, and the execution is top-notch. Of course, the song itself is a masterpiece too, really, "the weight of the world" is a phrase that's going to stay engraved in my mind for a very long time. Also, I love how Eleanor appears repeatedly as some kind of final boss figure throughout the song and acknowledges the MC at the end with that peace sign, it was too beautiful! I'm crying now.

I was very amazed on how good this is, ever since I discovered jpop I stopped listening to new english songs and only rarely listen to old ones, but this is a long while since I founded a english song that I really enjoyed, I only restart my journey in vocaloid after I found the issue in jpop as I found in new english song while the lack of experimentation and make me get bored of it, but vocaloid make me fall in love with music again as they are more experimental and don't scared to get into very taboo subject and the contradiction between the catchy and bop music to the dark and distrubing themes of the lyrics is what kept me invested, not only that I love how chaotic and hormonic the music is, your music really make me wanna try some english vocaloid songs
That song is great and paired with the video it's a winning combo. It gives me some really comfy early Vocaloid PV vibes and that may be due to the J-Rock influences you mentioned but whatever it is I like. Also, I love how Eleanor appears repeatedly as some kind of final boss figure throughout the song and acknowledges the MC at the end with that peace sign, it was too beautiful! I'm crying now.

I was very amazed on how good this is, ever since I discovered jpop I stopped listening to new english songs and only rarely listen to old ones, but this is a long while since I founded a english song that I really enjoyed, I only restart my journey in vocaloid after I found the issue in jpop as I found in new english song while the lack of experimentation and make me get bored of it, but vocaloid make me fall in love with music again as they are more experimental and don't scared to get into very taboo subject and the contradiction between the catchy and bop music to the dark and distrubing themes of the lyrics is what kept me invested, not only that I love how chaotic and hormonic the music is, your music really make me wanna try some english vocaloid songs
That song is great and paired with the video it's a winning combo. It gives me some really comfy early Vocaloid PV vibes and that may be due to the J-Rock influences you mentioned but whatever it is I like. I feel like if there was a NND Hall of Fame for English Vocaloids this one should be up the chart somewhere.
