Recipe pleeeeaase!!! Ps. How do you get your kids to eat the veggies?! My 3yo is so picky he’s probably just pick them all out haha but I wanna try to make this to see if he’ll eat the veggies!
Hi Pam!!! When I make the sauce I make sure to finely chop them. So when it’s cooked down. All the veggies is melted into the sauce. Once the kids are familiar with the veggie flavor. I cut them bigger the next time I make sauce. Then bigger and bigger after that. They love spaghetti. I do this with other foods too! Like soups or stews. Smaller veggies and I make them chunkier when they are use to the veggies flavors. Haha not sure if that helps. I’ll link how I roast my veggies. I chop them up after roasting and throw them into the sauce. For the sauce I chop celery, onions, mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, yellow squash and ground turkey. I season with a lot of dried oregano, garlic powder and add sugar to balance out the tartness for the tomato’s. For tomatoes you can use your choice of can/jarred sauce. I like to look at the ingredients and find simple ingredients in the jarred ones. I used ground beef to make spaghetti, prego sauce, onions and bell peppers and garlic bread and salad yum 😋
