Could be a Frankenwatch. I've read that they're all over e-Bay. Regardless, it's a gem for the price you paid. The miyota 8200 movement alone is worth that.

Hi, if the ballance has incabloc shock protection it's a Chinese copy of the Miyota 8000 series if it has parashock hard to describe but look at a known Miyota movement, and you'll have an idea of what your watch is.

A reface is usually close to but not exactly the same. If you open a Citizen Eagle 7 that you know to be real, then compare the movement in the watch in your video, you should be able to see any obvious differences in the movement.

The movement isn't even a miyota. It is a chinese clone. The parashock jewel in miyota is different from what you have. I've seen that kinda fake movement on ebay.
most likenot not a fake dial as producing a fake dial for an obscure citizen watch to be sold as a refurbished watch for 30$ wouldnt really make much sense. Alot of watches from these indian refurbished sellers are dug up from imported trash/ dumps, restored and sold. missing or unusable parts are often replaced with other scavenged parts which could be what happened with the chinese date wheel. If the dial was unusable it would just be replaced with another dial but i dont see the likeliness of an entire dial being replicated. I actually find it cool that they make a living off of recommissioning garbage that would otherwise end up in the ocean or in a landfill and using their knowledge of trade to get them back on people's wrists as actual usable watches
This is definitely a fake Citizen. The movement is a dead giveaway. It does look nice, and at least you're only out 32 bucks. There's so much garbage on eBay, it's tough to sift through it all.

just bought one off Etsy, 99.9% sure I got a "Mumbai special" frankenwatch but for $35, as long as it works, I'll be happy with my new fun lil watch.

The links are not badly made, they are removable. A section in those links can be pushed out to remove the link to make the bracelet smaller.

I forgot to include the information about the date characters. They are kanji numbers. To represent the 1st 2nd 3rd etc. days of the week.
My elder brother gifted sama eagle vintage citizen 21 jewel...some 22 years ago as my wedding gift ....it's gem ....
The display caseback seems odd to me.

fake dial with a miyota movement, the day and date wheels are misaligned. cheap folded link bracelet. i'd give this one a miss.

After some time, I’ve come to the same conclusion. Too bad it’s not a legitimate Citizen, but still a great looking watch imo.
