    I've watched 5 videos on doing this and yours was by far the best one. Very clear and common sense. Thank you.

    I was looking for a video showing the best way to paint diamonds on the floor. Funny enough because I’m going to paint pool deck here in Florida too! Thank you so much for such a good video.

    I was going to do this on our pool house floor but I’ve changed my mind. You have an enormous amount of patience

      I'm sorry if I discouraged you! Yes, it did take a lot of patience, but once I found a rhythm it went much faster :)

    Hi. We watched your video a dozen times! We painted our kitchen floor with black and white squares. I wanted to do it free hand but painting on wood is less forgiving. We bought a laser light because the squares "grew" as we got to the other end of the kitchen. Lots of lessons learned along the way. Your tutorial was the best we found. The squares really transformed your pool area. I hope ours do the same for our kitchen. Love your videos.

    It’s good if you want to work double , but if we use the stencils : it will be done quick ,and will be looks nice to .

      I think stencils are a great idea, however, I've done a lot of wall stenciling and the edges just aren't as crisp as they are with a brush. I also found it time consuming to wipe the stencil after each use. I do like the idea of not drawing out the lines though! :)

    • @HouseMixBlog

      It’s held up great! There’s a little fading where there’s a lot of traffic, but I was expecting that. We live in southern Florida, where it rains about every day in the summer! And we have very hot temperatures most of the year.

    • @HouseMixBlog
      @HouseMixBlog  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! I did not use a sealer as the paint was intended for pool decks :)

  • @chandracox6814

    Did you seal it when you were done? How has it held up? I want to do this to my front patio but I live in humid, crazy TX weather.

    • @HouseMixBlog
      @HouseMixBlog  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! I did not seal it because the paint was specifically for pool decks and it's held up perfectly! Southern Florida has crazy humidity too. Just be sure to get pool and deck paint :)
