But Toji is stated as Faster than that sukuna and stronger than him. And with the soul split katana ignoring durability Toji speed blitzes Megumi’s weaker mahoraga, but against a more powerful Sukuna Mahorga which did all the things you listed I will agree

Maki was tagging 15 fingers Sukuna and she's supposed to be as strong as Toji at that point. In the authors writing he literally said Toji is 15fingers Sukuna fast because Author's Maki can tag him and Maki and Toji are equal right now in stats.

God, Toji's glaze is too strong! Jogo couldn't even touch Sukuna, something Mahoraga did many times over. Toji is not him, he isn't a loop hole in Mahoraga's adaptation.
Its actually crazy they think Toji could win Maho adapts 2 ways after getting hit and over time Toji could speed blitz him but after the 1st time he does that Maho is going to be able to react to him and it gets worse over time whatever advantage Heavenly restriction users have physically is going to negated just after the 1st attempt. In the end the heavenly restriction still uses the Mechanics of cursed energy ie Binding vows to get what they have its not wholly separate to Jujutsu it still falls to the umbrella it still works inside it not its own thing.

mahoraga is definitely on par with sukuna physically. he keeps up with him throughout the fight. sukuna only edges him out in techniques and ap. He tanks everything sukuna throws at him while fighting back. This is insane mahoraga downplay for no reason

I love Toji as a character, but he lost to the 17-year-old Gojo. To be precise, he's weaker than the young Gojo before his awakening, so much so that he creates a complex plan to force Gojo to go without sleep for three days in order to have a chance of victory.
Mahoraga is fighting at the level of a 15-finger Sukuna. Sukuna was punched between buildings! The same Sukuna who dodged all of Jogo's attacks.
Sukuna wasn't fighting seriously against Ryu, who got speedblitzed --> Ryu, who managed to put pressure on Yuta --> Yuta who is stronger than Toji.
That's not quantum physics. Just look at the facts.

If we think soul split katana can one shot Mahoraga then yeah I'd agree. Or if Mahoraga's adaptation counts as a cursed technique, inverted spear of heaven could probably nullify it. If either of those are the case then yeah I could see a prime Toji pulling a dub, but it'd likely be pretty high dif since Mahoraga likely has the stats to keep up with and even overwhelm Toji.

Mahoraga didn't die or fall from a punch by Gojo which from Yuta's own mouth said made him throw up, so that means Mahoraga's usual durability is above Yuta's, though we don't know by how much.
Then we've also gotta use Jogo's fight with Sukuna as a measurement for Mahoraga because they both fought the exact same Sukuna. Mahoraga performed much better against Sukuna than Jogo did, and Jogo by Kenjaku's estimation is worth 7-8 of Sukuna's fingers.

Don't forget that Yuta was talking about the blue enhanced punches, Sukuna only summoned Mahoraga after it had fully adapted to blue and infinity meaning those hits it was taking were just regular CE infused punches. The black flashes though were a crazy feat.

His ability to adapt to ANY phenomenon is an inherent feature of his not a Cursed Technique so the Inverted Spear of Heaven would be useless, and besides what makes you think that he can't build a resistance to the blunt-force attacks of Playful Cloud or the slashes of the Soul-Split Katana after surviving Malevolent Shrine?
because theoretically toji could use soul spilitter and ISOH to POSSIBLY overwhelm in one consecutive attack (his speed and strength alone is literally top 2 in the verse). And also dont down play non cursed objects such as grenades, guns etc. sure maho can adapt to it but if toji uses the combination of his arsenal + a big enough grenade to eviscerate. Who knows toji could fuckin rip out maho's sword and used it for himself (honestly doesnt sound too far fetched 🤣) maybe that'll force maho to adapt to himself as the blade is part of him which could maybe cause a curse 'loophole' like the grany's technique where toji could abuse and possibly win but definitely extreme-diff for sure

I disagree about Mahoraga not being able to adapt too physical speed and strength. Mahoraga is able to react to one of Sukunas slashes when he couldn’t before. We also see him show better relativity to gojo as the fight goes on despite gojo hitting black flashes and amplifying himself
Mahoraga adapted to sukuna when seeing that rct was ineffective, switching to CE. An adaptation that has nothing to do with sukunas actions or techniques, ocurred just because the wheel adapted to be more effective against the target

Actually judging by what we know from the manga, Mahoraga so far has only shown adaptability towards cursed techniques, we don't know if that's the only thing it can do because we never saw Mahoraga adapting to anything else other than a technique

You're comparing Toji to Sukuna's use of Mahoraga, which, they never specify which version they are using but if you take that then you have to admit at least Megumi's Mahoraga may at least have more trouble. There are also very few ap feats for Megumi Mahoraga outside of his hard counter to cursed spirits which Toji obviously doesn't have to worry about. Also the fact that Sukuna's Mahoraga can't adapt while Sukuna is using domain amplification shows that it is a curse technique to some degree, as we have seen Sukuna do way more advanced things than Megumi did, and it didn't just like adapt to the domain amplification or something. While he may not be comprised of cursed energy like a cursed spirit, he clearly uses cursed energy to some capacity, Sukuna states as much. So if you take this Toji has better speed, hard counter tools that can potentially oneshot it, likely at least a decent knowledge of it, and the durability feats to not die. If you think Sukuna's Mahoraga would win, cool whatever, but the arguments presented in the video are valid for the Mahoraga seen in Shibuya given these points and the ones you present do not invalidate that.

Am i tripping or did gojo not state before that in the past mahoraga murked the gojo clan head with six eyes and limitless and toji got violated by one of these blue eyed people. In my opinion toji aint winning nothing he is not one the level of sukuna who needed to pull a whole new technique out after expanding his domain on mahoraga and nuking him while he was healing and phyiscal attacks against the shikigami doing little to no damage to it.
The way they described how mahoraga would lose to toji is that he would be completely helpless and just sit there like dagon who he is way way way way more superior to as he dies. Even if sukuna was caught off guard it still is a feat that he sent sukuna flying through a couple of large buildings.

1:29 That's not quite how that works. The reason you get a boost after you've revealed your technique is because the targets subconscious begins to work with your technique. Because Sukuna was not there for the technique reveal and also didn't have prior knowledge of the complexity of the 10Shadows technique. Therefore the Mahoraga that fought Sukuna wouldn't have any boosts.
I always thought it was because you get hella anxious because they know your technique, so your cursed energy output/levels or something goes up. It’s a binding vow with yourself, not others, isn’t it?

I feel like @Leo105presents is right though. Just an example, Choso’s brother, idk which one it was, poisoned Nobara with its CT. He then revealed his technique so as to make it more effective because now Nobara is thinking about poison spreading through her body. I mean he and I could be wrong but I thought that was the whole purpose of revealing one’s hand. To turn the Shonen battle trope on its head by actually making it a useful battle strategy. Sukuna even said to Jogo that he “won’t do something petty like reveal his technique” when he opened the black box. Because that would’ve made his fire CT stronger. It could also be that by revealing how your cursed technique works, you exchange the secret of your technique for a more powerful version of it to manifest

Something I like about JJK and something it does WAAAAY better than other Shounen is the fact that characters who aren't part of the main cast are still very strong or atleast seem capable in the grand schemes of things. And the overpowered characters like Sukuna or Gojo actually act like most of them would in real life (arrogant, enjoying fighting , not caring about the 'weak). They are the strongest, everyone knows that so you don't have to 'sacrafice' or downplay Badass fan favourites to show it. Yeah, Toji got low diffed by Gojo which was absolutely logical as he was the pinnicle of strength at the time, but Toji cought him off guard and brought him to the brink of death before that (yeah he was far weaker, still). And not forget that it was exactly THIS encounter which led to Gojo becoming the strongest and Geto deciding to end all non sorcerers. Both, while again still weaker than later on, were already special grade. And Toji destroyed them both tactically (Gojo) or was simply stronger (Geto). And as we later learned in an SBS and by his own words, what we saw in the hidden inventory arc wasn't even his prime. The most we saw of what Prime Toji would've been like was during his fight against Dagon. When he litterly bullied a disaster course in his own domain. With all the feats I listed, Toji is still far weaker than Gojo, Sukuna etc. but still holds his own. Another exmaple would be Nanami who held the record of the most consecutive black flashes before Gojo broke it. Little things like that really makes me appreciate JJK. Nowadays, Nanami wouldn't be able to compete with the top dogs so I think it was the right decision to finish him off at the time and giving him a right send off. But he still 'feels' like a capable and strong character. You can continue this list further but the main point is just, that JJK really seem to respect its minor characters.

I feel like many don't scale Toji proper, because of Toji's careful scheming, info gathering and versatile curse tools, he fights more like Batman.
I feel like saying his a batman character is a bit much, we really only see one instance of him using "planning" and agaist gojo. A person toji new for a fact he had to plan ahead for if he wanted to stand a chance.

I honestly don't think kenjaku's statement is saying maki can run a 1v1 with him but more so because kenjaku can't sense her so she could get close without his knowing or leave shinjuku without his knowing despite the precautions he set up due to her heavenly restriction. In a similar way he mentions ui ui due to his spatial manipulation because that can also bypass his precautions. So I don't think the implication is that she can actually give him a high diff fight but more so that he has to watch out for her specifically due to that.
Yeah, the danger of her is that she'll pull a Toji and show up behind Kenjaku one day to plunge a sword in his chest without warning. In a tournament-style fight he has a much better chance, but if we're following street rules then he's at a severe disadvantage due to her stealth.

I almost let this video slide but then I remembered that mahoraga has tagged 15 finger sukuna (like mentioned in the video) but also tagged Gojo multiple times as well, meaning it was not a fluke.
Also, in a recent Six video i watched, im pretty sure he points out Gojo saying that Agito was the only one not able to keep up with the rest of them (them being Gojo, Sukuna, & Mahoraga) meaning Mahoraga could keep up and is relative to them.

Your logic with the megumi statements makes no sense because of 2 reasons
1. It has been debated a shit ton and most people agree Toji beats Jogo, who was evaluated at 8-9 fingers
2. Maki was keeping up with a 15 finger megumi sukuna in the manga, and she was only using soul splitter. This is relevant bc in case you are anime only maki and toji are stated to be equal once maki awakens. So he is relative to 15 finger sukuna just like mahoraga.
nothing you said negates my points. Toji would beat Jogo, but doesn't mean that there is a huge gap in speed.
My overall point is that the people in the video gave Toji very generous interpretations of his strength while doing the opposite for Mahoraga.
A couple interpretations you could take.
- physically, Yuji is way stronger and faster than Megumi. Therefore Yujikuna is more adept at physical combat then Meguna
- Meguna in his inception had limited CE output due to Megumi. Limiting his ability to maximize his CE reinforcement.
CE reinforcement adds durability, and strength and arguably speed, see Yuta

Since Mahoraga scales to 15F Sukuna in power and speed (I disagree with the statement that it isn't relative to Sukuna, even though it remains slightly weaker and slower; with Jogo, we very clearly saw him getting physically overpowered by Sukuna but there's not a moment during the fight against Mahoraga where we saw Sukuna overpowering it physically or demonstrating much superior speed feats, it's rather the contrary at some points even; all the feats Mahoraga displayed clearly can't be reduced solely to his adaptation), it would simply massacre Toji. Even with his strongest cursed tool (in terms of raw power), and even though the fight was a no-diff, Toji couldn't kill Dagon with simple strikes and actually had to pierce through his cursed energy core in order to exorcise him. Dagon was the weakest of the Disaster Curses, and 15F Sukuna was literally moping the floor with Jogo (potentially the strongest of the bunch, contending with ISBoDK Mahito). 15F Sukuna ultimately had to use his DE to take out Mahoraga. Toji would just get annihilated

Im quite firm that tojis isoh is a technique of the blade. Therefore mahoraga would adapt to it. Cuz no where did it say the adaptation was a technique its more like something mahoraga inherintly does. Mahoraga also had the strength and speed to attack sukuna and to send sukuna flying. Not saying he scales to sukuna but thhat feet alone would make him physically capable of beating toji without isoh and soul splitter which logically are techniques imbued into the blade that mahoraga can adapt. You also gotta realize that mahoraga just straight up tanked a black flash from a full energy gojo. Black flash is not a technique either so that black flash is just one of the strongest attacks in the series. Overall mahoraga wins in my opinion but let me know if u think otherwise.

Mahoraga can adapt to any and everything. We saw this as it adapted to water by getting gills so it can definitely adapt to pure force or whatever u guys were saying. It’s any and everything. Also ISOH won’t work since adaptation is not a cursed technique it’s an innate ability, like breathing it doesn’t have activation or anything it just happens

Though it may not scale his speed to 3 finger sukuna it should probably scale him at the minimum atleest 3 finger sukuna overall.

@@KANA_VR_ by definition the 10 shadows allow for the manipulation and summoning of 10 Shinigami through the use of shadows, the 10 shadows allow summoning and manipulating mahoraga, so in order to de-spawn mahoraga one would need to hit him in the process of summoning, otherwise hitting him would cause the summoner to lose control over mahoraga.
It has not been even implied that shikigami have souls, so the soul split katana could have no effect on mahoraga.
The playful cloud is simply a weapon that multiplies your damage disproportionately, so any feat from getto using playful cloud in order to hold his own against true Rika and Yuta is a feat from getto and not from playful cloud.

You could argue the toji could impale the spear in maho and negate his ability. But as seen in the anime and manga, other than being a bit sadistic, maho is mindless. BUT in terms of combat, he’s pretty competent tho simple. He would more than likely realize the spear is negating his ability and rip it out just as fast a toji put it in.

I kinda hate the face because they said toji has the power to end the zenin caln whenever he wanted to. Even though that statement was told to us after nabito's death. To justify nabito over toji when we dont know. I don't think toji is outright faster than nabito. I think you would need prood that he just loses to nabito

Shibuya toji gets fucked, but Hidden Inventory Toji one shots with SSK, and along with his variety of weapons inside his cursed spirit inventory. (ISOH, chain of a thousand miles, etc.) so him beating mahoraga is debatable, he either one shots with ssk or gets fucked by adaptation
It might be head cannon or just wrong but when thinking ab inverted spear of heaven, would it just cause mahg to be released since him being summoned is megumi’s cursed technique? Like we’ve seen in the gojo v Toji fight that ISOH doesn’t need to hit the sorcerer to turn off the technique so I assumed it would just eat through mahg like it did infinity
we now know how mahoraga´s adaptation works. after the gojo vs sukuna fight we see sukuna state that the way sukuna ended up wining is because he used mahoraga like a blueprint, adapting to gojo´s limitless and imitating whatever mahoraga did. after mahoraga first adaptation he changed the essence of his CE to be equal to gojo´s CE thus ignoring infinity, this was something sukuna could not imitate so he waited for the seccond adaptation, in wich mahoraga instead of attacking gojo he attacked the entire space around him to bipass infinity, this was something sukuna could imitate.
so thanks to this we know that what the dharma wheel does is learn about the opponent CT and figure out ways to better fight them, then it gives that info to mahoraga.
this explains the battle between sukuna and mahoraga in the shibuya incident, since first the sword of extermination was charged with RCT but after seeing that it was useless in sukuna because of sukuna not being a curse, it changed its energy into normal CE for a better match up against sukuna.
it also explains why even after having "adapted" to sukuna´s dismantle mahoraga was still taking damage from it since mahoraga had only imitated sukuna´s CE and as we know from the fight between yuta and yuji vs sukuna, he can still take damage from its own CT, thats why mahoraga ended up adapting to slashes in general.
so with that said mahoraga´s abilities are:
absolute control over its CE.
being able to use the CT of his summoner (once tamed by sukuna mahoraga shown to be able to use cleave).
control of its body structure and size to a certain degree.
now, the abitities of the dharma wheel:
progresively gain a better understanding of any phenomena it´s being exposed to.
somehow it can inform mahoraga of virtually anything once it spins.
it does not seem breakable by conventional means (gojo didn´t target it even though it was clearly exposed during most of the fight).
mahoraga´s weaknesses:
he cannot change his methods of fighting by himself.
he does not seem to be able to be summoned in an unstable mode (sukuna never did it even though it erases the risk of the shikigami dying).
