Everyone is always confused why Aquarius is called the water bearer, but is an air sign… when we all know that air holds water.

They group air and water together, and use the same symbol to represent them both, because both are the nourishing/potentiating half of their elemental partnerships with fire and earth (the receptive/manifesting.) Aquarius has some pretty rad legends. He is the water bearer because he is the Younger dryas, or the great flood. This is Greek mythology as Ganymede, was kidnapped by Zeus' Eagle form as his cup boy. And we all know what cups stand for in the tarot. Possibly the oldest tale of child trafficking 🙄 Ganymede got his lick back by drowning all of Zeus' precious humans. Our guy is also symbolic of Rebelion for this reason.
Gobeckli Tepe build large towers that responded to the constellations. It's said that their towers were facing Aquarius at the time of the great flood. Fire shot directly from his constellation and caused massive flooding.

I received devastating news nearly right after this reading dropped, and forgot almost all the messages, so revisiting now. It was the worst week I've had since the you know what started in 2020.
