You can't put a price on mother & son bonding time, but you can put a value on the vintage basketball cards bought during that bonding time! Watch as expert Jasmani Francis does just that during his appraisal of 1986-1987 Michael Jordan basketball cards & sticker in "Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, Hour 3."

So far off, this appraiser is on a different planet. That Rookie is at best going to grade to a 3, with the fuzzy corners, the dinged lower corner and the centering. A $3000 card at best. The sticker and the 87, with just a quick glance, look to be maybe 6s or 7s. $500 each.
Hanging out time is the best time
Damage or not, graded or not, I’d love to have these
It depends on when this was filmed...if this was early 2021, a psa 8 Jordan rookie was selling for 17-20k. I know because I sold 2. That being said, that card is no way an 8...I would guess maybe a 4-5. Which was valued at about 8k. Still nice cards...hope she sold them
84 star #101 is actual card and was NBA LICENSED.
Star Company cards were licensed
Was gonna say... my mom collected basketball cards back in the 80s when they were dirt cheap, and has most of the Jordan star cards, and they all have team logos. She also has complete sets of pretty much every Topps and Fleer set from the early 70s to early 90s.
Once again his appraisals are WAYYYY off. Even for when this episode was filmed
I agree. I laughed when he said 10-15 k on the sticker and the 87. Even in a 9 grade it is not close to that, and these cards are 7 grade or lower.
I have no idea what these are worth but he said insurance value is 10-15k. Not card value. Insurance value is always higher. I don’t know why. When we were insuring my house my insurance guy had me insure my Picassos for way more than they’re worth.
@@ribo451 it's just replacement value, so usually those figures come in way higher
Comps is all you need lady
@@jdclar3I think $6,000-$7,000 for all 3
He said cards- have to be graded? That’s not true, there are a lot of collectors who buy ungraded cards. Agree with Broth6, evaluation is way off!
@lysolandbananas1402 too high. If those cards got psa 7’s they will sell for a combined $5,500. Psa 7 is prob too high looking at the bottom corner of the rookie card.
@lysolandbananas1402 way too high
Cards definitely DO NOT have to be graded.
If you want top price they do.
You definitely want the rookie card graded
Wait, Star wasn’t licensed? That’s factually incorrect.
Did he say $20-30,000 for the rookie card? Is he on another planet? I saw a crease on it, and the centering was off. PSA would probably give that no more than a 6 on a good day. Nowhere near the amount he quoted.
thats the problem of this show, inflate the prices and normies will be misinformed
The crease was the plastic case. Sure the corners weren't sharp and the centering top to bottom wasn't great....It'd probably get a PSA 6 or 7.
15k for the sticker😂😂😂
Hahahaha😂😂😂😂
Maybe if all those cards Graded a 10 they would be worth that much 😅
Guys crazy where do they find him
Aaaaaand that's why I collect basketball cards rofl. Snatching up the Wemby cards as much as possible now.
Centering is off on all 3, the fleer rookie is damaged on bottom right corner
WAYYYYYYY too high of an appraisal, That Jordan Rookie is in the $5k range in that shape, the sticker I will be generous and say $1,200 and the 1987 Fleer $500
I think the rookie had a serious crease in the bottom right corner
@@sket179 even less than $5k then lol
Yeah I'm thinking $6,000-$7,000 for all 3 tops!
STAR had a license … they weren’t pack-distributed, but they were legit.
This guy is giving himself too much credit. He thinks his appraisals can move the needle. He can't obviously
Wow your are a millionaire NoW love the story.
1984-85 star michael jordan were definitely licensed lol get a new job pal😂
Bro. You are not even close.
His values on the two right cards are insanely off
This guy thinks the 86 is a 7 or 8? Get a new appraiser
What’s joke his appraisals were… lol…
Lmfao. Not even close.
Not even in the ballpark pal...
Comps are so much more accurate than this guy
