I love the intro in this video; the music and those two guys surf fishing getting knocked of that rock. Every time i see them get knocked off that rock it makes me wanna go fishing. Those two guys, whoever they are, are hard core.

I had that exact 7.5 inch Ghostescence have the belly hook hanger rip clean off this morning. The one before that had the middle joint snap like a twig. This was right out of the box brand new, hooks and split rings removed, and a 4/0 VMC and a 200lb wolverine split ring on the belly. It was a fish in the mid 40 pound range. I got the lure back and spiked it on the rocks. Make them $30 again and stop producing crap. I'd rather have a plug that will hold and pay the money than to have a whole bunch of shit.

Patrick Sebile is an innovator. He is always looking to try something new. That's the way I like to fish. Plus his lures are a fraction of their previous cost.

Did you say a Cut Treble Hook ??. Is that from the Siwash family of hooks. Please put me onto those , never seen one before..
    Thank you for sharing ...

Maurice Brown just a normal treble hook that you snip yourself then bend it closed again. Some people will put nail polish over the cut part after.

Man, I was cringing when Patrick was jerking that lure around all emphatically waiting for a treble to accidentally get stuck in a hand or arm. Hahaha

Just want to make sure I understand what he said. Ok the large size he replaces the 4o hooks with 3/0 vmc 's?

I wish they made these in a 2 oz range. They jump from a 1 3/8 to 3 1/2 oz version.

For the canal with magic swimmer, would you prefer the slow or fast sinking one?

Bass pro shops in Foxboro sells the Sebile magic swimmer for $7.99. They are not the most popular colors they have gold, black and silver, and trout color. They even have the big 4oz sinking magic swimmer for 7.99. I know those at baite shops can run you like 35.00

No wire thru? Should be good to go out of the box. Us surfcasters are smart consumers and wont blitz on trinkets.

So you use 300lb hardware and then use 5lbs of force to bend the hook eye closed? Lol that doesnt make sense.

kerry kramer if you understand the mechanics behind what kind of leverages it takes to open a hook eye, you’d know that it’s well over 150lbs of pressure to open a cut hook.
