I could just listen to you guys talk about games and reminisce forever! Being a single dad who's been working 6 days a week to try to give my boys the best Christmas possible I don't have alot of time to game anymore and I could be playing right now and I'd still rather sit here and watch/listen to you guys, being 35 years old I can just relate to all this and remember all my old memories. I also bought a 360 because of Oblivion, I was into Twilight Princess on the Gamecube and even though I love that game I played Oblivion for a few hours at my friends and I just couldn't go back, I couldn't play anything else until I bought a 360 and Obivion. It was my first Elder Scrolls, my first Bethesda title, it was just pure gold I played for like 15 hours straight.. Lastly thank you for introducing Victor on a video awhile back because I subbed his channel and watch his content religiously now, it is just all so great! I wish you guys Happy and safe holidays.

I love gaming alone at home, but when a friend is over and I'm showing him a game he's never played before and I'm like "dude, you GOTTA check this out. It's AMAZING" and he's like "HOLY fuck" and he's blown away by the game too, haha. That just makes the excitement 10x more crazy! And just telling a gaming memory to someone, even without being playing, is really fun and good for the soul. And that right there tells you how important sharing the gaming experience is!

Electric Playground was my show in Middle School. I learned about a lot of games through them. Your guys' discussion on holidays and games is perfect. For me Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been about playing something obscure on my backlog. Right now I'm playing Yakuza 5 as my first game in the series and I'm totally absorbed.

Rewatching all Johnny’s Christmas content in 2023 and looking back Shenmue was to me and is and always will be much more impactful that GTA, I’ve still never finished a GTA game end up just screwing around never beating it then playing other stuff.
I love this video! My favorite Christmas memory was the Christmas me and my brother got the sega Genesis. That thing was like magic in our eyes me my brother and my dad played that thing all night! So many of my favorite Christmas memories are surrounded around video games!
I can totally relate to his Call of Duty story. Was probably the first game I've played that struck a real emotional chord with me. It makes it pretty depressing to see what the series has become at this point.
I had the same experience with the first Call of Duty, in particular the Russian level which Victor mentioned and the general experience of trawling through ruined cities - It felt like an educational and instructive experience as much as a just a game. I remember turning to my brother and saying "Can you believe people we through this?" It brought something home about the reality of the past, for me sat at the family PC in a dining room in North Wales in 2003!
My first NES Christmas: Power Pad, Top Gun, Ghostbusters, Simon's Quest, Zelda, and Rampage. What a magical Christmas that was. Shortly after, I saved up my allowance and bought Legacy of the Wizard and Mappyland. I played the shit out of those two games.
It's sad that, here in Québec, we don't know about Victor Lucas... I'm sure that he would've got along with Denis Talbot back in the day of Monsieur Net in Musique Plus.

One of my most fondest gaming memories was getting the N64 for Christmas in 96' and me and even my mom was amazed by Super Mario 64 we literally beat that entire game as a family!! The only game that got us all together like that it blew our minds that Mario was finally 3D!!
