For the longest time I was always confused on if Jesus was God. As I prayed for wisdom I felt and saw God open my eyes to people like you who explains it’s perfectly. Thank you thank you always! God bless you
taking notes- Check next- the creeds after that- the law Thank you Elijah, you have been such a blessing. I love how you put it easily. You don't know how good and building this is to the church.
For those interested in the topic of Jesus (and His divinity) in the Hebrew Bible, I'd recommend the book "The Angel of the Lord: A Biblical, Historical, and Theological Study." by Douglas Van Dorn and Matt Foreman. Hope it's edifying! :)
Jesus is also the Creator of the cosmos as much as the other members of the Trinity (see John 1:3; Colossians 1:15-17). So in that sense, he is also the Father of us all.
@Christian1kz Why doesn’t it mean he’s the father??? It literally calls him “the father”, the name/title given to God the father. As an agnostic atheist, the Bible is confusing
Jesus, the Spirit, and the Father share the same names (of which there are very many). My favorite explanation of the Trinity is that God is one what (Fully God) and three who's. This means each person of the Trinity is separate but they are all of the same 'what'. This means they all have the same nature of perfect moral goodness. All three of the Trinity are God and have the nature of God but they are not separate gods. Therefore, the Son (Jesus) can be called Everlasting Father just the same as the Father or the Holy Spirit may, for they are all equally God.
I’ve been struggling with this concept recently. I know Jesus is 100% man and 100% God but He also says He is the son of God so is He God or is He the son of God? The Trinity is confusing because we worship one God but then people question whether we worship multiple because we also worship Jesus. But we don’t really worship the Holy Spirit so is the Holy Spirit less than Jesus. China McClain did a video on her Instagram about this and I don’t know what to believe.
Pray to God so that you have better understanding. At first, this whole Trinity was confusing for me...until I read Bible. I digged deeper and ask my friends...well Catholic friends. And I refer to priest as well. Then I began to understand everything so yeah. But beware of false preacher and church.
@@JessicaMichelleVids my pleasure ❤️ another friendly reminder, the trinity concept revealed progressively in the Bible. We can't see clear teaching of Trinity in one verse or chapter. Read bible with your heart and patience :)
How did you you connect “word” in John 1:1 to Jesus? Haven’t read my bible in a while so maybe there’s another verse I’m missing here that describes Jesus as “the word”
@@imhere6986 Nice question! JOHN 1:14 says "and the Word became flesh (Jesus as a man), and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth. Verse 15 continues " John bare witness of him and cried saying This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me, for he was before me" (words he spake about Jesus in Matt 3:11 before he baptized him) So you can see that JESUS IS THE WORD and earlier in John 1:1 it says The Word was GOD therefore since Jesus is the Word and The Word is GOD, JESUS IS GOD!!! God bless you! Please read John 1 for more understanding and feel free to ask any questions
@@imhere6986 Because verse 15 and other verses following confirm it. Verse 15 says " John bare witness of him, (The Word that became flesh as stated above), and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me (similar words John said of Jesus in Matt 3:11, Mark 1:7 Luke 3:16 before baptizing him)....In addition, verses 16 and 17 say "And of his (the person that has been talked about from verse 1) fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by JESUS CHRIST(Confirmation that it was Jesus he was talking about!)... Remain Blessed in Jesus' name.Amen
Yo Elijah, my name is Antoni, I'm 19 and trying to learn how to create content and spread the gospel. If your available for a quick phone call please let me know.
If Jesus YESHUA isn't G-D, the Icon of G-D in the flesh. to heck with Him. He is either the LOGOS, begotten son, second person of the holy blessed undivided trinity, or hes a liar. no middle ground. you are either a child of light, or a child of darkness.
Jesus Christ is the son of God. Trinity is not Biblical doctrine it is a Catholic doctrine. I am not Oneness nor Trinitarian, but Trinity is not Biblical.
I beg to differ because the trinity is biblical. Even though there is no verse in the the Bible that goes "yeah this is the trinity", the existence of the trinity is heavily evident in the Bible hence it is biblical
Elijah on that 2 day streak! I definitely need to familiarize myself with the creeds, thanks for linking them in the desc. - Very insightful video

As an almost ex-JW this helps me a lot with my research, and, i have a question, why is Jesus called everlasting Father?
