I just bought the 52 Quart today and I can’t wait for it to come in. I have the 12 can soft pack for work and I love it. Great Products for a great price!!
I purchased this exact cooler in terms of color, size, tray, etc. I had it for about 3 weeks before having to return it because the largest of the drain plugs leaked and we transport this cooler inside of our SUV. Other than that, I was happy with how long the cooler retained ice, temperature, and resisted moisture. I'm hoping that the RTIC 52 I'm waiting to receive as a replacement won't leak.
@@EdDoesTechEd Hi Ed, interestingly, I just received the replacement cooler 2 days ago (08/19/21). I had to reach out to RTIC to follow up since I had not heard back from the company & I was informed that they didn't know when the color I ordered would be back in stock, but interestingly, I received the replacement about 3 days later. However, I will have to return the replacement because the cooler looks used. Other than the leaking issue, I was really pleased with the cooler but their customer service to this point is a major letdown.
I just returned mine for the exact same reason. Fortunately I shipped it yesterday and my replacement will be here tomorrow, but I’m in Texas and only a couple hours from the Cypress location.
Hi Michael, I apologize for the late response. I just took a measuring tape to mine it was.. 17.5" tall 27.5" length 18" wide Rounding it up, I would say 28"x18"x18" (LxWxH) Thanks for the comment!
Awesome! I need to put some ice in it and do a review on it in about a month or so. Thanks for watching and commenting! Subscribe for more content if you haven't already. Let me know what you would like to see. ☺️
How has your cooler held up after 1 year? Do you recommend it still? I was looking at that colorway as well, however I have seen videos talking about darker colors losing half a day of ice retention, and also being hot to the touch. Do you have any thoughts on that? Thanks again!
Hi theKidako! The cooler is in great shape! It's seen the beach and the lake a few times and has been actually more popular than the more expensive, and smaller, Yeti coolers others have. The color hasn't faded and the ice retention is still there. The environment you're in really affects how everything will fare. If you leave the cooler out in the sun for long periods of time, consistently, this will discolor just about anything. Couple that with humidity and a more corrosive/saline environment, and you have degradation. The part about it being hot, hopefully is due to the prolong sun/heat exposure. Let me know if you have any further questions!
I would be sure you have moved the rubber latches out of the way and the lining is not in the way. Sit on it after confirming and see what it does. If that does not work, I would contact the place you purchased it from and see about a replacement. Thanks for your question!
We have had no issues at all. The only thing was that it was a bit harder to open due to the suction, but since these are even bear-resistant (not proof!), I wouldn't worry to much about it. :) Thanks for the inquiry!
Exactly, different construction. The RTIC Ultra-Light is lighter and thinner than the others. As such, the tradeoffs are going more towards the cooler being light and having a larger space, rather than being able to retain temperature longer. Thanks for the question Carl, and for the answer mike. :)

I agree! I still use mine for lunch. The soft pack, not the 52quart. haha
@@EdDoesTechEd when it gets warmer I will starting bringing both of them for work
Ok, I've been thinking about this cooler for a while and this convinced me. Gonna buy it in the morning when my wife can tell me what color she wants.
SAME! I had my wife pick out the color. I was surprised when she didn't go for the lighter pink or the blue.
Happy to help walrusjax!
Works pretty good man no complaints it holds ice

Interesting. So they were able to replace via warranty or the 30 days return policy?
I will have to watch out for that.
Thanks for the heads up Eric!

@@xavierspacker Goodness. Good to know. A hub location is outside of Katy, I would have taken mine straight there and requested my exchange. XD

@@xavierspacker did your replacement leak as well I'm having the same issue with a brand new one
This video definitely made me decide on getting a Yeti.
Happy to help!

Howdy! Sorry for the delay. It actually does! It is the divider shown at 3:40 .
How r u liking the 8 can?
Liking it a lot. Enough space for a nice meal and snack. I've loaded it up to the brim. Still in good shape.

i just got my rtic 52 qt last saturday, have not had a chance to try it out yet
It took me about 3 weeks or so to use it. XD
Do they come w the basket and divider?
Yes it does~!
I got mine in today and doesn’t seem like lid closes all the way. Any help?

Does anyone know if these are durable like the rotomolded? Can a big adult sit stand on it like the other Rtic models with no worries?

Got the all white 52 at cooler and love it. Got the day cooler as well and is still going strong!
YES! I also got the, I believe 8-can day cooler and use it as my lunch bag.
Why is the 45qt $219 w/o basket and the 52qt is $199 w basket??
different contruction

“I got this in a crazy sale...for like $179”
Uh oh...who’s gonna tell him.
Not I.
“This is an 8 day cooler”
Oh no...
WHAT HAPPENED?!
