We lived about 4 miles from there on Lockwood Blvd in the late 60s- early 70s. Great memories as a kid with my sister and parents. Mom and Dad have passed away since. Miss them and the time of my youth.

We had so many fun days at Idora Park. We never knew how lucky we were to have this fun park in our backyard. Thanks for sharing this.

We could walk to the park from our house. Best french fries ever! Back then you could group together and go without your parents. Lots of fun, that I can remember!

Can barely tell there was anything there. I'll always remember riding the coasters with my mom.

Bless you. I grew up at Idora in a different way. My Dad owned the Auto Skooter while I was growing up.

Just memories of a place that was. I don't understand why they didn't rebuild it . Piece by piece little by little

At the ballroom circa 1960 met Lawrence Well. Great music too many top name entertainers to mention.

I personally feel, idora park should be absorbed into mill creek, and hopefully they could spruce it up like cascade park in new castle. The have little packards of where all the rides were.

Was surprised to see in this video that all the buildings and structures were gone.

They were finally demolished almost exactly 20 years before you left that comment.

The idiots at Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church and they filed bankruptcy and still refuse to sell it.....

@@mickyparise I knew they had bought the property and had no use for anything but the ballroom. I figured there would be remodeling but it is gone! I am going to reassess my opinion of pentecostals.
