Nice. I was looking for an air leak in the normal places- the intake air stuff on my ski doo 300F tundra.. I think I'll check the crank seals now and go from there. Thanks for the tips👍🙏👋
Hey, is there any chance you could do a quick video on how to remove a rotax max engine and exhaust (including where all pipes go and throttle cables etc) from its chassis for basic cleaning (preferably a tony kart), thanks!
great idea. we do have an assembly video series on the Rotax and also Rotax DD2, have you seen them? HOW TO: Install The Rotax DD2 Engine on Your Go Kartwww.youtube.com › watch
Just ran into the same issue with my TM R1. Ordered a new seal. Will try to carefully drill and replace the seal without taking the whole engine apart 🙈 it’s leaking on the chain side. 4 hours of total running only…
Hi, You have some great content. I'm new to go karts and just purchased a CRG 125 Rotax that has been parked for around 5 years. I believe the owner had serviced it on a regular basis and removed the fuel and coolant before it was parked 5 years ago. What would you recommend to do before starting? Many thanks
awesome news, welcome to the club!. most likely a new battery, fuel line and filter, fuel pump kit, needle and seat, brake bleed and you should be all sweet.
Hey Dez, I suffered an engine issue with my Rotax at the track the other day, and now when I try to start my engine it makes a high pitched squeaky sound… I think it’s the clutch but just wondered if you had any idea? Thanks man, and keep it up!
Hi, so I am wanting to start in junior ka100 and I have questions of maintenance costs as well as when to get a rebuild, if you know any good forums for me to visit and learn all about the class let me know.
Hey Ayden, the cost of racing is unlimited, especially if you are racing for victories. however the cost of ownership is not excessive if you are to use the engine on practise days. so I say, race to your budget. if that means 2 times a year, do it, still fun.
Hey, I’ve heard your able to convert Rotax max evo junior to a senior? Do you have a vid or know someone who has a video on it? Thanks so much! Great videos!
Hello, if i drive junior kart in high grip track with 20-35 celcius with douglas low volume magnesium rims what tyre should i choose and how many psi should i use? The track is ' Drive Park ' from greece
Hey I'm just getting into karting looking to buy my first I know some one who has a kt100 not sure on s or j model on a demon xp chassis would you recommend something else or you reckon this would be an OK start point I'm 19 so would have to be a for a senior class
Not bad for some fun. No good for a race kart currently at most clubs. The KA100 is the closest equivalent. Otherwise save up your race coupons until you can afford a TAG Res kart package for about 4-5k
@@PowerRepublic thanks for the advice i might just save more and get a tag kart or buy a frame to fit a ime ka100 prices i see at the moment are a bit inflated
@@PowerRepublic thanks for the reply. Would you know the PN for the rotax I seen to be burning gear oil and oiling plugs on a micromax I’m considering just replacing the crank seal
Thank you, sir, very helpful I just ran into this situation, and I was scratching my head!
no worries, glad it helped 😁

Hello, what tool did you use to block the clutch plate and where did you buy it? Thanks
www.itakashop.com/gb/kart-extractors-and-lock-wrenchs/1911-iame-clutch-lock-wrench.html
is there any benefit for changing these seals prematurely? thanks
no really, they normally last between bearing services

Hi TZ, is that on Lecont? at a guess I would start with 9.5-10.5psi
@@PowerRepublic yes it is lecont thank you so much

Would this be the same in a rotax mate?
yeah you could use the same technique on a Rotax.
