The actor who played the Jewish husband was Irish, he died in real life months after this was broadcast. What i never got with this story is why he left Janine bugger all if he thought so much of her? Didn't he leave everything to the dog's home? Also obviously she was marrying him for the cash; it is hardly a shock or revelation. After all what 25 yo [her character's age here] would marry a frail and elderly man with bad health in his 80s and near death's door unless he had cash?
