ম্যাডাম, auxiliary verb এবং principal verb দুটোই তো finite verb. আর দুটো finite verb কি পাশাপাশি কি বসতে পারে ? এখানে swimming কে present participle বা non finite verb বা adjective বলা যায় কি না ? কেননা non finite verb তো কখনই auxiliary বা principal verb হতে পারে না ।

Participles are non-finite verbs. "I have done it." Here, done is past participle and so done is not a finite verb. Finite verbs are changing verbs, e.g. I am...... He is...... I/he was..... I have..... He has........Participles are not changeable.
