Thank you BROTHER PRINTERS for making chip-free refillable toner cartridges. I will never buy another printer again with chip cartridges. Before buying this printer cheap online (because I'm on the market for a laser color printer) I decided to look at the cost of refilling these cartridges... and then I looked at the cost of these chips... so I will never buy this printer. Simple as that.
Yeah. Good policy
I think if I had known about the chip before purchasing I would have choosen somethign else but it has been a very good printer and I've had mine fore several years. Only had to replace the cart once.
One of the greatest videos I have ever seen, thank u. will show whole village. subscribe
Amazing! Tried on CX310dn and worked!
Hi, I also have the CX310dn. Do you have to replace the chip as well if so where did you get them from?

Very colorful fellow... Charming us with humor.
Ooooh, do stop it ;-D
you are a god among men ayee, thank you good sir.
I have a Lexmark C3224DW. This long-lived printer scam is an affront and an abomination. We The People need to make our OWN ubiquitous printer that is designed to LAST and be serviceable.
Thanks for an excellent video. Does the machine go on strike if one of the toners is empty?
Ours did
Thanks for the video. I would be interested in whether the chip is always usable, or does it have to be exchanged again.
The chip has to be changed for every refill. Not the chip's idea: actually enforced by the programming in the motherboard of the printer
@@urefilltonerUKThank you for your prompt reply
Hi! Thanks so much for making this video. Would the toner+chip be compatible with a CS417dn?
I doubt it
howto remove the residual container in a CS410N ?? I cant seem to take anything out that looks like it?
In theory, there should not be any residual toner. In practice, we've seen that on some occasions, the printer can leave a large amount of residual.
If there is a large amount of residual, you can ...
try explaining to whoever sold you the cartridge that there's lots of toner left in it
or ...
change the chip, but do not refill with toner
If you need a chip on its own, we can help with that: contact us at
www.urefilltoner.co.uk/contact_form.aspx
Nice video......but where can I purchase a new chip for my Lexmark? Any link please? Thanks.

If you literally just want a chip with no toner, customer services will help you with that through
www.urefilltoner.co.uk/contact_form.aspx
I am 100% sure this Lexmark is Xerox engineered. It has a side-loading cartridge system with a separate developer unit. The toner box shape also looks Xerox-y. Do you know if this is the case perchance?
I've got no firm reason to think that is the case
Do you happen to know if this trick works?: If I regularly refill my toner *BEFORE* the "0 copies remain" message shows up, can I avoid replacing the chip?
That did not work in our experience or that of any customer that we know about
Why are the filler kits not suitable for high capacity cartridges please?
Current thinking is that they will work. Please get in touch with our sales here for a full explanation

hi can you still reply? i know this is a very old video. but i do need to know something. Do I still need to replace the chip even if the cartridge I bought is new? I'm planning to refill the new black toner cartridge with white toner powder.
In that scenario you should not have to change the chip
But there's going to be an issue flushing out all the black toner from the developer system and, potentially, getting white toner that will work
This isn't the forum for all that: please get in touch with us through the contact form here

We want that soon this company has come to India by writing to you.
I need a chip which reinitialize itself automatically . could it be ? No chip in my country Morocco.
We have access to chips that are compatible for Africa. Please put your question to our sales department through the form here www.urefilltoner.co.uk/contact_form.aspx
what kind of chip is this? Any way to overwrite/reprogram its counter state? Any other way to fool the mainboard cpu to think this is a new chip?
Not to our knowledge
Good night, it is necessary to change the chip I have a lexmark cs310dn
Oh yeah
do you do a kit for the Lexmark C543dn ?
Sure do. Here
www.urefilltoner.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?manufacturer=Lexmark&productCode=LEC543KITB&price=22.50&description=Starter+Kit+black+(includes+everything+you+need)&engine=LEC540&printer=C543dn&id=2629
thanks for that! what's the deal with the chip? can you reset it? or is it set to a huge page count?
Salut dites moi où trouver la puce ?
parce mon imprimante n'en a pas
Do we need to replace the chip every time we refill the toner? or is the replacement chip once for all the future refills?
Every time. Dictated by the mother board of the printer. Not possible to have a chip that can get around that
@@urefilltonerUK Do you recommend any good and cheap color laser/led printers that are chip-less? sorry for asking too much :)
The only game in town in the Brother HL-L8260cdw. See the video here
www.urefilltoner.co.uk/how-to-refill/brother/HL-L8260cdw_HL-L8360cdw_DCP-L8410cdw.html and the products here
www.urefilltoner.co.uk/toner_refill_products.aspx?manufacturer=brother&engine=BRL8260&printer=HL-L8260cdw%2c+HL-L8360cdw
@@urefilltonerUK I recommend the Brother, that's what I have and it's excellent. It's a Brother so no chips (only reset wheels) and it'll never break down. In fact if a nuclear apocalypse happens this is the printer the surviving cockroaches will use in their offices as it's that bombproof and solidly built.
hello, why i have to put new chip? and where i can find? i have the cx417de
Because the printer won't print if you don't change the chip. For your model, the chips and toner are here www.urefilltoner.co.uk/toner_refill_products.aspx?manufacturer=Lexmark&engine=LECS317&printer=CX417de
does this work for a Lexmark CX317dn?
Same protocol, but you need these products
urefilltoner.co.uk/toner_refill_products.aspx?manufacturer=Lexmark&engine=LECS317&printer=CX317dn
Do you sell only the chip without refill bottle?
It can be done. Please contact us through www.urefilltoner.co.uk/contact_form.aspx
hi! Will the chip will be compatible with XC2132 ?Tnx
I doubt it
Do these work with the Lexmark CS720de? tnx =)
I seriously doubt it. Although, full disclosure, we haven't tried them in a CS720
Any plans for CS417DN kit/chip?
Not at the moment.
Compatible chips makers are making a lot of money. They sell them at a waaaaaaaay too high cost... Criticize a company for their business plan by another mean business plan...
That's why it's better to avoid printers that need chips. And go for my picks here
www.urefilltoner.co.uk/test-lab-printer-reviews.html
does the refill chip work multiple times or is it just like the original chip and only works once ?
No one has a choice to make chips that work more than once. That behaviour is dictated by the printer's mother board
Any chance in near future for Lexmark cs727
It depends on being able to reverse-engineer the chip. Which no one has achieved yet
i was expecting a toner and chip to be a bit cheaper than £34 since you can buy a whole cartridge on ebay for 39.95.
Yeah, me too. But compatible chips that I'm confident will work are expensive. There's no way around that and it's why U Refill Toner has criticised Lexmark over the years
how many times will this refill chip work ? just once like the original chip ? or can i refill multiple times with this refill chip ?
Is there a chip for CX417de?
we're testing some in the lab at the moment
Please give me an Information in case that you are successful.
Is it liquid or powder
powder
Where do I get the chip?

i don't see the link ...
Links are on the TH-cam overlay. Browser restrictions apply which I can't control. Try a different browser
lexmark cx317dn work it? do you send turkey ?
At the moment, there are no chips for that one
@@urefilltonerUK Could you update please if available.
Where is the link man
The link starts to show at around 6:26 in the video. If you want the products, they're here www.urefilltoner.co.uk/toner_refill_products.aspx?manufacturer=Lexmark&engine=LECS310&printer=CS410dn%2c+CS410dnw%2c+CS410dtn%2c+CS410dtnw
This is true. Get a Brother. Do not get a lexmark.
You can try the method with the reset wheels as explained in the video here
