So this is you reviewing other peoples videos? As a wedding videographer I'd love to see you do a review/commentary of your own wedding films! I don't know ANYONE that makes such beautiful videos, and I don't get it! How do you do it every single time!? I would love to see your own thoughts on filming and editing: Ine + Phillip // Bergen // NORWAY (the best wedding video I've ever seen)
Thankyou Marius! You just made our day mate!! We've chatted about doing a Roast of one of our own, and we may even do one live in the future so people can ask questions as they watch along, but we'll see! We love Scandinavia and cannot wait to go back!! Ine and Phillip are good friends of ours so it means alot that their film resonated so strongly ❤❤
the only iPhone shots I like are the ones that show some drama created when a guest pulls out their camera, like if you see a kid run from out of frame to punch their dad in the crotch while he's getting a nice photo taken and then everyone laughs. Andrew probably gets the iPhone footage because he's in tune with the clients and the vibe on the day which also allows him to get the great footage that goes in the final cut
that bad Audio is probably caused by the bridesmaid having her hand on the mic that's strapped onto the microphone. Any good DJ will give you a line out so if you strap a mic to the mic then that should really only be your backup rather than laziness (not saying that's necessarily the case here)
You are actually right on the money with that! This particular venue doesn't allow anyone to touch their soundboard at all which is kept in a locked room out the back so as much as I hate to do it... wireless mic on the mic is what I did and it hurts me inside everytime I shoot here.
Yeah I'm with Grace, I hate phone shots! Takes you out of the moment. Cheapens the story you're trying to build. Stop shooting that shit Andrew! Roast over.
Loving these roast! Leaning so much! Thankyou guys! Keep up the great work! 🤪👍🥰🙏
Thanks Nash! Feel free to share with anyone else you know who might get value from these, always keen to help!
i'm "liking" this because of the double chin shot of y'all hahaha
Haha glad you liked them as much as we did 🤣🙈
Thanks for the roast guys! Tons of great feedback!
Stoked that it’s helped man! Can’t wait to see what you’re doing this time next year, thanks for being open to feedback 👌❤️

Haha sometime yes, but sometimes I'm just experimenting and it doesn't really work ;)

@@BottlebrushFilms you could definitely rig up something to just hold an iphone in front of the lens all day 😂
