This song is honestly incredible. Even past the obvious achievement of mixing together Thousand March and Good Eatin', the guitar and sirens that come in at 2:58 and 3:28 have embedded themselves in my mind from how unique and intense they are. I love how this song carries just as much tension as the original thousand march, and i love the microwave sound being repurposed into a beat drop at the start of the song, and the Golf club swings being paired with the marching footsteps near the end.

Honestly when I saw the trailer I felt like this track wasn't that so good but now that I hear the whole thing it sounds really good. Also I like the level Idea, I'm going to try it later. Edit: Oh and also I guess the name is a doom 2 reference right?
This level is designed to destroy you, leaving nothing of you. First, giving hope and then breaking it, the level throws us into the thick of it, and YOU must get out of here at any cost. You don't pass the level, you try to survive going crazy.
this is the best cyop level ever, the graphics match mcpig's artstyle, the gimmicks are amazing, don't even get me started on the soundtrack. how did you make the bomb hoop mechanic, if i may ask?
Thanks! The way the bombhoops work is that offscreen in every course is a big row of robo-goblins firing at a war terminal blocked by a golf block. Whenever you beat a course, this golf block disappears allowing the goblins to break the war terminal. Its janky but it works, and it's also the reason why sometimes mines and rockets don't make an explosion sound.
There’s a lot of samples of this I want to know, one is the backing throughout the thing (I know the beginning is battlemaniacs) and the other is 0:41, it sounds so good
Having just p-ranked golf 2 I can say with certainty that this is one of the best cyop levels ever made, if not THE best. Everything down to the theme of each course to the time limits being short enough that even an experienced player will struggle a bit. It’s honestly some of the most fun I’ve had playing a mod. My only critique is that the custom music is wayyyyy louder than the base music (intro, secrets, lap2).
I hope this makes it into the retail version of the game somehow, it might just be the best custom level I've ever seen or played. It just fits the base game so perfectly it's insane.
This level may have been tough as nails but it was still very fun to play. I loved it and the hub aswell. Hope the next level is as good if not better than this.
@@Samwow I think the only problem I had with the level was the time. I dont know if its cause I'm not used to the layout but I feel like choking up on a part in the level can easily cause a gameover
@rappareprofl5427 I agree. In war, if you know what to do, the timer isn't really a problem. In Golf 2, you need to do everything perfectly, or you will run out of time. There's also a part directly after the chase course where you are a ball. Sometimes the flying Kentucky Kennys can nuke you when you are a ball, which feels kinda cheap. Other than that, the entire map is great
This feels like if a parkour and combat focused fast paced Hey Arnold platformer idea of mine had an Act 2 of a zone that takes place in the Vietnam War focused on running and attacking as fast as possible as the Fall of Saigon starts.
From the tracks I've heard so far, the Other Tower is a place that doesn't need to ask the player if they're ready to get funky. If you've come here, funkiness is mandatory. It's a place with expectations, where the bar is set high, and it demands but one thing of those who challenge it: Clear Or Die!
This has to be one of the dopest remixes I ever heard of my second favourite ost in the game(nothing beats "It is pizza time") Hope you get more subscribers, is insulting the fact that you have so few.....
Golf 2’s 2nd secret literally reminds me of that one part of CTOP (Crumbling Tower Of Pizza) where you have to wall climb up and then body slam all the way down.
I cant believe im saying this but when the trick happened with the WAR switchout, i was for some reason just not phased and/or disappointed somehow most likely because when i played other tower i didnt really enjoy the way the levels were structured atleast thats what i thought then
Funfact: The way the Bomb Hoop works, is first a variable called "sprite_index," with the sprite being the bombhoop. The way the timer triggers though, is outside of the map are about 18 of the bomb goblinbots that are featured in crust cove. The reason there are a lot of them is because of their cooldown. Once you score a hoop, the Golf Block blocking the actual timer will disappear, letting one of the goblinbots use its cannon and cause the timer to go off instantly.
this level is literally that one gif where its like "golfers getting sucked into hell because golf is fucking stupid"

Honestly when I saw the trailer I felt like this track wasn't that so good but now that I hear the whole thing it sounds really good.
Also I like the level Idea, I'm going to try it later.
Edit: Oh and also I guess the name is a doom 2 reference right?
Yep! Glad the full track is solid.
This is easily the best cyop level, and this song is better than most in the base game
Now that The Noise update exists I can only imagine The Noise seeing himself riding on a rocket in the missile background and not caring at all lol
This level is designed to destroy you, leaving nothing of you. First, giving hope and then breaking it, the level throws us into the thick of it, and YOU must get out of here at any cost. You don't pass the level, you try to survive going crazy.
3:25 I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO ADD MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SONG!!!
Great job Shamwow!
Interesting use of march as percussion.
imagine that Tour De Pizza added a DLC with a new floor, containing really well made fan-made levels
It'd be cool but i doubt that because of a multitude of reasons
fair enough
Maybe if they did some sort of cyop competition like some do for doom wads
I think Bloons Did something similar with
The levels in Bloons World and made them into Bloons player pack 1-5 and the jr and insanity packs
this is the best cyop level ever, the graphics match mcpig's artstyle, the gimmicks are amazing, don't even get me started on the soundtrack. how did you make the bomb hoop mechanic, if i may ask?
3:18 hardest beatdrop ever
Bloody hell.. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF PERFECTION!
TEACHETH THY WAYS
I finally realized...
Golf 2 being a combination of Golf and War, is a pun on Gulf War.
There’s a lot of samples of this I want to know, one is the backing throughout the thing (I know the beginning is battlemaniacs) and the other is 0:41, it sounds so good
an alternate name for this track would be Bad Eatin'
edit: i just found out about the other theme and i feel stupid now
One other thing, I'd just like to gush over how the golf club slices at 4:30 were just, REAL good.
The golf experience of the life time! Well.. if you will still have one…
That big cheese enemy is about to throw hands at peppino
Having just p-ranked golf 2 I can say with certainty that this is one of the best cyop levels ever made, if not THE best. Everything down to the theme of each course to the time limits being short enough that even an experienced player will struggle a bit. It’s honestly some of the most fun I’ve had playing a mod. My only critique is that the custom music is wayyyyy louder than the base music (intro, secrets, lap2).
I lost count of how many times I’ve listened to this.
Absolute fire.
I hope this makes it into the retail version of the game somehow, it might just be the best custom level I've ever seen or played. It just fits the base game so perfectly it's insane.
Seriously, why nobody realized that cries are kinda hearable in 2:30?
Speaking of the screams, I need that sample
I swear to god this is one of my favorite songs
For a pizza tower fanmade level this is just chef kiss
Love it
This is so good it deserves an 8-bit drummer cover.
I wish, that would be a huge honor
It's good enough to get that honor.@@Samwow
We Makin It Out Of The Golf Course With This One🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This level may have been tough as nails but it was still very fun to play. I loved it and the hub aswell. Hope the next level is as good if not better than this.
were there any points where it felt cheap in its difficulty?
@@Samwow I think the only problem I had with the level was the time. I dont know if its cause I'm not used to the layout but I feel like choking up on a part in the level can easily cause a gameover
@@rappareprofl5427good to know, I may go through and adjust the times a bit more to make some parts of the level more forgiving
@@Samwow I would really like that, usually by the time I reach the chase course I'm basically out of time.
Other than that, the entire map is great
I really like how you added the sounds of hitting a golf ball as well as the sounds of marching.
GOOD LUCK GETTING OUT OF THIS ONE, GREASERSSSSS
The ending with the chewed up cassette is just brilliant!
I absolutely adore the Doom 2 reference there.
WE GOLFIN WIT THIS ONE 🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥💀💀💀🏌⛳
This has to be one of the dopest remixes I ever heard of my second favourite ost in the game(nothing beats "It is pizza time")
Hope you get more subscribers, is insulting the fact that you have so few.....
My mom told me to stop playing with the microwave because of the microwave sound in this song
They should have called it "Putt on Earth?" as both a play on Hell on Earth and "What on Earth?"
who putt you on the planet?
Golf 2’s 2nd secret literally reminds me of that one part of CTOP (Crumbling Tower Of Pizza) where you have to wall climb up and then body slam all the way down.
i got the p rank after +30 tries, and that was the best cyop level i played in my life seriously it was so much fun :)
You can see the chaos happening outside the restaurant windows
I swear I can hear Waters of Nazareth in the back.
I cant believe im saying this but when the trick happened with the WAR switchout, i was for some reason just not phased and/or disappointed somehow
most likely because when i played other tower i didnt really enjoy the way the levels were structured
atleast thats what i thought then
i inspire to make music like this
Absolutely FIRE
Peppino really is still golfing when war is happening 🫥💀🦉
I love the battletoads soundfont.
Okay, the music unironically slaps.
I like that you can hear what sounds like cheering starting at 1:36 as if the level is trying to cheer you on to beat it
it's more like screaming
Perfect music for fighting in the Golf War.
This is the best CYOP level ever made
WHY IS THIS SO GOOD
the segment with all the cheers and applauses remind me of palm tree panic bad future with all the distorted cheering
