    Amusing that I was practising this wonderful ordre all afternoon and feeling in a Couperin mood decided to look him up again - and found your video. Excellent interpretation. I don`t think we should worry too much about the titles even though I`m still waiting to hear from the Keyword Press about when the 3rd edition of Clark and Connon`s book will be available! I would maintain that the titles for us, born in the 20th century, mean next to nothing. It`s the glorious music that counts. I love Couperin and finished my evening with Les Ombres Errantes.

    Why 415 hz compared to 392hz french tuning? You oncd played rameau in french tuning as demonstration

      I keep my instrument to 415 Hz for the sake of consistency across all the videos. Also, my wife's violin is tuned to 415, so that makes it easier for us to play together :-)
