Even though Jeremy didn't got the first spot, but being a Filipino that he represents, I'm so Proud of him. Thank you so much Jeremy for doing your best and for showing that being Fiipino and as an Asian in general, there's no way for you to excel to whatsoever field you're trying to pursue on! Kudos to you! 😊❤️🇵🇭
For me, Jeremy the best MasterChef. He know all the dishes Filipino, japanese, chinese, America, Canada dishes. Mary can’t cook all the dishes like that!
I knew Mary would win this. She low key cruised through every challenge since day 1, but made it look like she's struggling just to fool everyone lol. She's a natural at this and she deserves the title.
Jeremy made a big mistake by "switching up" his appetizer and main. A sushi sampling would have been great for the appetizer while a Bison dish would've been a wonderful entree
Exactly... That made him miss the chance of winning. he should first serve the sushi as his appetizer before the main dish. A simple mistake may ruin the whole competition... I hope this will be a lesson for him next time.
Congratulations Jeremy. For me you are the winner for bringing Filipino foods to the masterchef Canada. That was amazing. Don't be sad. Usually, the first place is the one successful than the winner. In my own observation.
We knew Mary was going to win when we heard the one cheft wanted her or her dish and then u heard the judge say he would love to have her dish at his restaurant. Jeremy was to cocky and thought he would win by having 4 different dishes at the end
All 3 of Mary's dishes were of equal quality and well thought out. I would totally buy Jeremy's entre, but it leaves criticism with the amount of plates, so not a tactical move. I see how Mary won.
Every meal they both made looked great but being adventurous is what it takes to be a chef and that's what i saw in Jeremy. He always prefer to create rather than recreate safely. Kudos to you Jeremy! You have the mind of a chef!
Even if I am Filipino I think Mary's win is justified. Jeremy gave his all but like the other commenter here said, his entree opened him up for more criticism and the lack of cohesiveness in his dishes on round 1 and 2 cost him the title.
For me this is among the best seasons. I liked the challenges, there was no clear Top Dog until very late, and everyone was likeable! Seriously, every elimination hurted, even David who was the first one. This finale was pretty close.
how can a vegetarian cook meat without tasting it? she must win THAT'S INCREDIBLE INSTEAD! For me, I will never trust a cook who doesn't taste his/her own food.
Be proud to you jeremy as a underdog . Showing talent any kind of cuisine all over the world you can create in anytime of situations .be proud !!! Salute!!!
Jeremy's four plated or deconstructed sushi was perfect and delicious even though I haven't got the chance to taste it. The presentation was really a good points for jeremy. I can say
Thanks Jeremy for introducing Filipino cuisine to the world even there is little chance of winning the judges. In fact one judge as I observed was leaning away from your dishes from appetizer to desert. Keep doing your best in cooking. We know you are up there already.
that sushi entree was a gamble to take😅 but still a congratulations to Jeremy for making that far🎉 The chef had a very good question "which 3 course meal would you want to have again for the second time?😅 It so happened that Mary's dishes were in sync
In the heart of filipino Jeremy is the winner because he gave all his heart and soul to this competition...Mary is a very humble, creative and smart chef and she deserves to take the spot.
i'm asking bec i'm honestly confused. I worked in a restaurant before as a barista / food runner, and we were told that we should always taste (a bit) the food before we serve to guests. And I'm assuming the chefs / the one who cooked would do a lot of tasting before serving. I wonder how Mary would 'wing it' if she doesn't eat meat at all. I know that we could 'check' visually, but cooking isn't just something that should 'look' okay then it should also taste 'okay'. How did she know this meat would taste good with this sauce / other things. It's just me, but I would feel a little uneasy if the one who cooked my food wouldn't even eat / taste the food that they made for me.
Jeremy made a big mistake on sushi boat 🍣 🍱 he make a little confusion for judges. Technically he made a 4 entrees instead of 1 entree. so close to win it all. but nonetheless he’s still one top chef.
For me both of you are winners Congratulations and keep it up guyz and I also congrats the best 3 judges your doing great and very inspiring. God blessed you all
of course they will not let asian to won. And the winner is also a canadian. How can you be a chef if you will not taste of what you are cooking? I think they already know what will happened. 😅😂 And the other judges said that she cook very canadian. 🥱 its a clue
Even though Jeremy didn't got the first spot, but being a Filipino that he represents, I'm so Proud of him. Congratulations Jeremy you made that far ❤🎉 proud as a Filipino here.
Jeremy made a seemingly multi dimensional-version of Filipino staple dessert of ginataan.
For me, Jeremy the best MasterChef. He know all the dishes Filipino,
japanese, chinese, America, Canada dishes. Mary can’t cook all the dishes like that!
Growing up as a vegetarian and having to learn how to cook meat when I was an adult I'm impressed with Mary's ability to cook protiens without tasting
Jeremy for me you’re the winner, you’re so creative and makes original dishes!❤
They won't let Filipinos win, not even in Got Talent contests.
Agree@@lizamadrigal5201

From the start
CHEF Claudio is already attacking Jeremy.
Congratulations Jeremy. For me you are the winner for bringing Filipino foods to the masterchef Canada. That was amazing. Don't be sad. Usually, the first place is the one successful than the winner. In my own observation.
Both are very competitive, and i think there's no way Filipino won this competition, so i already expected she would win.
As much as I love Mary, I am surprised how Jeremy didn't win this though.
We knew Mary was going to win when we heard the one cheft wanted her or her dish and then u heard the judge say he would love to have her dish at his restaurant. Jeremy was to cocky and thought he would win by having 4 different dishes at the end
I agree
same! I think Jeremy really stand out in this final competition.
@@nicoloise9139agree
But Mary did win the main course. Focusing on one dish and perfected everything rather than 4 dishes but only nailed 2 dishes.
All 3 of Mary's dishes were of equal quality and well thought out. I would totally buy Jeremy's entre, but it leaves criticism with the amount of plates, so not a tactical move. I see how Mary won.
I don't understand the comments Mary is an amazing cook she deserves this title.
Proud Filipino here Jeremy, thankyou for representing our country, I know our country are so proud of you too🇵🇭 you're a true winner for us💪🎉
-TOP 2🔥
I think a dream job would be doing the grocery shopping for this show
Every meal they both made looked great but being adventurous is what it takes to be a chef and that's what i saw in Jeremy. He always prefer to create rather than recreate safely. Kudos to you Jeremy! You have the mind of a chef!
Jeremy is the winner for me 💛🎉

They will not let Filipino win
HE was already attacked by Claudio in every dish.
There's something with Mary and that judge. 🕵🏻♀️
I think so too

Bruhh biased show 💀
All asian complaining here dude 😂 keep ur narcissism back home, stop embarrassing us asians ...
Oh come on!!
For me this is among the best seasons. I liked the challenges, there was no clear Top Dog until very late, and everyone was likeable! Seriously, every elimination hurted, even David who was the first one.

I agree, how Mary won the competition?
I coudn't agree more.
Be proud to you jeremy as a underdog . Showing talent any kind of cuisine all over the world you can create in anytime of situations .be proud !!! Salute!!!

Mary looked like the girl in Scooby-Doo character
Lol that's what I said 😆
Jeremy's four plated or deconstructed sushi was perfect and delicious even though I haven't got the chance to taste it. The presentation was really a good points for jeremy. I can say
I agree
Jeremy for the win

I appreciated Mary's plating. And also looked delicious
Jeremy deserves to win.
We all know that terry was team Jeremy because Mary said he will lose and he acctually lost.He is lowkey holding a grudge.😂lol.But i liked his food.

Jeremy was destined for 2nd place from the beginning
I think it's very telling that the major critique on both apps was the protien. It's very very hard to do a protien in a short amount of time.
Jeremy for me
Congratulations🎉❤🎉merry
For me important Jeremy he try him best for cooking I proud of you Jeremy not easy to go the 35:30 finale
Jeremy is good but marry nailed it this challenges. 3/1
Jeremy made a big mistake on sushi boat 🍣 🍱 he make a little confusion for judges. Technically he made a 4 entrees instead of 1 entree. so close to win it all. but nonetheless he’s still one top chef.
