I agree that Rong Qi's story was heartbreaking and cruel to viewers, but on the other hand, he planned the final months of his life with Rong Le. Although the baby didn't belong to him, he saw how her baby grew, and even during the delivery, he was next to her holding her hand. This period was one of the best parts of the story. He was sick and had a miserable life, so he decided instead of having such a miserable life, to gift a happy life to his loved one. It is beautiful and splendid.
True av loved him too but with much tears 😢 in my eyes not all cam sacrifice themselves for others.
Right now it feels like rong qi was the first lead of the drama and wuyou is the consolation price for man yao :-(
But even so, I knew Rongqi can never survive because if he wud hv been alive, he wud have been even more heartbroken to see them together.... but the way he died was seriously very emotional!!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

@@koyenadas6213 Agree. Rong Qi is her first love & and the love of her life. But their love was doomed. So WY gets the girl. By the time finally revealed, Rong Qi literally stole the show. He is the Ultimate Love, who has always been there in the background the whole time. His story and superb acting made all the other male leads look pale & forgettable in comparison, despite having only couple episodes to tell it.
Luo Yunxi is such an amazing actor. Despite having much less screen time & less speaking lines than the other two, he’s the most captivating, memorable , presence actor in the series, and carries it all the way through. You can replace any actors in the series and it still works. But Rong Qi will not be the same without Yunxi.
To the people that made this possible, you deserve all the awards you can win. This was a dang good story. To the people who subtitle : you did good. Ill say this is one of the best ones. Bravo. I loved it. Thank you.

This is not a good story. I m very unhappy they killed Luo Yunxi. It is so sad ! Luo Yunxi is even more tragic than in Ashes Of Love! He died in this drama ! Why you guys always torture Luo Yunxi !? I m so unhappy 💔 He deserves his love, he deserve a happy ending !

Good ending! I am glad that Rong Le spent five years missing Rong Qi, acknowledging her love for him. I am happy all ended well. I really like the actor who played Rong Qi, so much emotions. I would like to see him in another drama where he is the lead and get the girl!

This drama absolutely gets 10 stars for Directing, Script, Cinematography, Acting, Sets, Costumes, Hair/Makeup (even though some of the wigs needed refining), Audio, Editing and Locations...worthy of several awards

Rong Qi didn’t deserve to die .. he suffered from beginning to end ... the writers should have given him a happy ending ... this is just too sad and heartbreaking... my best series so far ... amazing job to the cast and crew
Yes, Rong Qi didn't deserve to die. Come to think about it, it's fine, because he's 'repaying' his evil mother's unforgivable sins. If he did not die, he'll live in pain lost in love, witnessing his beloved falling deeply each day in love with her new husband Wu You. Besides, Rong Le has already a child with Wu You.
He had to die to atone for the sins of his mother. He knew it and did it willingly after his failed bid for happiness. Tragic. That's what makes this a great story. It wouldn't be as good otherwise.

Ultimate Wu Chou moment: Giving his child to his dad & especially when he told Hen Xiang, she did well; she did well protecting both children. Just reminded me of how important it is to say positive things to people, especially friends & loved ones. Avoid taking things for granted. Sort of a full circle. Rong Le was Fu Chou's light & Wu Chou finally could be Xiang's light actively by acknowledging her.
The definition of love is shown by brother qi . OMG how much he love her. His sacrifice left me in tears 💧😢😢
When the General passed away while saying his daughter’s name… had me in tears. I was sobbing at that point…
Rong qi was so selfless . This made me cry so much . Poor Hen xiang and fu chou did'nt even get to spend time with their daughter together . How could we forget xiang . He also died. Rong le and prince Li lived separately for 5 years . THEIR LOVE CAN'T BE EXPRESSED IN JUST WORDS . I am trying so hard to hide my tears from my mom.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I cried a river because of rong qi. He didnt deserve any of this he rly loves rongle the most and did the most for her till his death. Although everyone is pitiful he endured the most out of all and suffered physically and emotionally since the beginning. I never cried so much for a character I swear.
Loved the series. Lucky woman to have 3 gorgeous men love her. Each sacrificed for her love. But Rong Xi sacrificed not expecting anything in return other than her happiness (sigh).

This is one of the best dramas i've seen in a long time. the storyline had me guessing on all fronts. It showed how revenge is more deadly that murder, as it can corrupt the innocent at heart and cause the ones u love to hurt instead. Rong Qi had it the worst in all. a mother who sees you as a constant reminder of how she was used and tossed aside, yet she refused to change. so lesson ' dont use people feelings for u, its not a game. Again great series, cast and crew. have crying and being emotionally upset , while happy and relieved .
Ending scene gives me goosebumps every time. Clothes, music, ministers kneeling - it's a masterpiece!

I salute Luo yunxi acting skill....i always enjoy watching his drama....i strated watching this drama because of him and again i have fallen in love with him....he didn't get much role in this drama....but the part he played was just amazing and he gave a life to this drama.....❤️♥️

I cried so much. I should be happy that at least the lead characters are alive, but in reality the true romantic tragedy is between Man Yao and Rong Qi. The two of them were each others first love and that bloom not from tragedy or lies, but a moment of peace, until the dumb queen ruined it. I’m sad that he got her hatred until the very end of his life, but the moment she let him rest on her shoulder as she cried was the saddest and best thing for her to do even if her husband was standing there and her sister also died. Rong Qi and Man Yao needed that moment
To all the people who had a hand in this series, thank you. I laughed, cried, and almost broke tv screen. Thank you.

Everything about this drama were beautiful and brilliant created. The acting was excellent and the emotions were everywhere to feel. The ending were satisfactory but not totally acceptable by heart. Bravo to everyone and especially to the actors who acted Rong Chi, Wu Fu, Wu Yu and Rong Li

Rong Qi’s servant looked so sad and distraught when he appeared to hand over the letter. My heart really went out to him. It’s obvious he really loved his master and misses him. 😭

Rong Qi never did anything wrong but in order to save his lover and to see her happy he endure all pain , hated alone . Always he acted like a cold , bad and selfish person who use others to achieve success but the truth is he never did anything wrong he alone suffered a lot and never lived happily and never lived a life for himself . For Rong Li's safety he send her far away , and for her happiness he tried his best and he never regret for his sacrifice , he even let her love wu you and let her stayed happy with him but never felt jealous and never tried to keep her in his side . For her happiness he did everything he can do . Even the child was not his but he look after rong li when she was pregnant and took care of her , in the birth time of the child he was in the side of Rong li by holding her hands , wu you is the father of the child but Rong Qi's love and sacrifice for rong li and her child is unforgotable . In the end he sacrificed himself for her and never regret for his sacrifices , he even used his dead body to protect her . But he did nothing wrong then why he suffered a lot but he is so unfortunate that he never stayed with his love peaceful together and even never find a mother's love . His mother did everything wrong but he suffered a lot this is unfair 💔 . Lots of love for Rong Qi's lovable character ❤❤❤ .

This was a great drama to watch from start to finish. This final episode really moved me to tears as it was very heartbreaking to see Rong Qi, die you can tell he truly loved Rong le. He went above and beyond in order to protect her even when she misunderstood him , he went as far as using his dead body to protect her. Luo Yun Xi did his role as Rong Qi justice . It was sad to see Rong le's sister die though after reuniting after so many years. You can tell that fu chou was at peace when he died as he changed for the better and it was great to see both him and prince li reconcile.

All the viewers may have not noticed this but when xiang and chou were together and xiang was dying her head was on his shoulder but she removed her head as soon as she heard him say that she has protected the children well but not something that shows he cares for her this actually broke my heart cause she loved him till her last breath and he didn't loved her but only like her abilities till his last breath, the drama was really really really good and i am sure that i will come again some day to watch it again and to feel all the emotions experienced all over again

I cried too much,😭😭😭😭,.. brother qi is the true hero here,..Fu chuo, and hen xiang, emperor,.. 😭😭😭crying to much... brother qi from the beginning to the end he suffered a lot,.. I can't stop my tears falling thinking his pain and his sacrifices for the peace and for his everlasting love to princess man yuo, even it took his own life just to protect her, to save her and live with the man she loved.
Salut to the writer, who wrote this drama story, from the start full of secret, it made u more n more curious about the story, at the end when all the secret revealed, the evil empress was rong qi's mother behind all the crimes. Love it all the caracters n the most is the story.
They gave 57 episodes to other actors. Giving them more screen time making their characters memorable. Around 3 episodes screen time was for Luo Yunxi and that is the best part of the entire drama. Whole drama was good

What i have learned is that not everyone who is besides you with sweet talks as for this maid in the drama wish you good or want you to be happy as you may seem to see. And sometimes hatred may lead us to do mistakes because of what we see or what other people have to tell us that we have to believe it,plus in life we all need one person we trust even if we are nit around them but because of the build and respect they give to you and back you up when you're not around and lastly to all the casts, directors and who ever made it possible for this drama thanks to you all.
