I grew-up in the 50s and early 60s. I remember well my Grandpa's pipe smoke, at home, in his Garage and out on his fishing boat. I miss him much, but just thinking about that smell brings him back to me. That is why I (at 68 yo) am taking up pipe smoking. I want my Grandchildren to get that same memory so they will have it when I've passed. Scents are a very big trigger of memories.
I feel you with that little hipster comment...im an 18 year old who absolutely loves wearing suits and smoking pipes. I get called a hipster from time to time simply for enjoying things most people my age don’t... a damn shame. I can relate to your childhood... For me it was my granddad. I recently did the same thing. I found his Savinelli that he gave me... I use it to this day. Just bought a new Savinelli 614 Tortuga. I like that leather especially when they burnish.

You won’t regret it, they’re a really excellent company with some real talent. In Farmington we got about 12” and a ton of snow drifts, just trying the keep the fire roaring and the cold at bay! Be safe out there

You should do a review of some pocketknives. Smaller ones can definitely be used as a gentleman's accessory. However, it is also important to observe the knife laws from state to state and even within cities. I used to collect spyderco and benchmade pocketknives among others.
As a pipe smoker, this roll is cool. However, it is only limited to certain tobacco. In my opinion, I would like to see a design that is able to hold a tin of tobacco. There are similar products can be found on Etsy - slightly cheaper.
I don't understand (but still respect) people that can smoke a pipe only a few times a week, I usually want to smoke it atleast 4+ times a day, I don't consider myself addicted to nicotine because I can just forget smoking at all for the entire first half of the day but I still do want to smoke it when it comes to my mind

Thank you! What’s interesting is how different pipe tobacco is than cigarette tobacco, and while there’s always a potential risk I equate it to enjoying a nice scotch on the weekend. I’ll always take a comment encouraging healthy behavior as a positive one though, and I sincerely appreciate the thought.
You have to be realistic when talking about something being a good deal. $120 is expensive for what it is. Now that doesn’t mean it’s not worth every penny, it’s handmade, quality leather, looks great, good design, American made. Your paying a premium price for a premium product.

Check out Missouri Meershaum pipes. Oldest (and still functioning) corn cob pipe manufacturer located in Missouri. Corn cob pipes can get elaborate.
