Chapman Video Essay 2015 (ACCEPTED)

- Hey guys! This is my video for my application to the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University (Orange County, California) for the Fall 2015 Semester!
These were the rules: Submit a self-introductory video essay (2 minutes max.) without appearing in the video in any way (including any photographs of yourself). The video should highlight something about yourself, your personality, or your interests not related to film. Your film should demonstrate your abilities in visual story-telling and creativity rather than technical abilities.
This is the most amazing self-introductory videos I have ever come across. You deserve that acceptance!

I look up to you! I'm a sophomore in high school and I love your videos, you will get very far!! Please give me advice on creating videos, I'm anxious people from my school will find out and embarrass me however I love film.
Thank you so much, that means a lot! Don't be embarrassed by your passion, filmmaking is awesome and there are so many cool people getting into it. I've been making films for a really long time. Honestly, the whole cheesy saying of practice makes perfect really applies to this field. The more you try to do difficult and different and more creative shots, the better you will become. Find a certain aspect of filmmaking (cinematography, editing, screenwriting, directing, etc). and focus on each of those individually and then you'll grow holistically. Also, having a nice camera and equipment will always help. I have a Canon EOS Mark II 5D and I edit with Final Cut Pro X. Also, there are TH-cam tutorials on how to do almost anything. i have an okay GPA& SAT score but idk if i will get in.
