The commander rework is fine it’s just the range sucks now. Other then that, I still rank him S+
The Lunar Overtue went downhill due to the lack of moderation on act 3 and made people sad and possibly mad cause how hard it was when it came out (talking about act 3 not act 1 and 2)

I think the sudden growth is because TDX was causing competition
They soon after winter (either content creator skins or The Hunt) The devs made tds finally get playable on mobile without crashing every game that probably brought back mobile players.
Ngl my issue isn't crash, but the lag at the last wave on hc, badlands2, PW2, pizza party and event map
I want them to make hc less grinder since it’s extremely boring and not even an ounce of fun of just doing a Strat over and over again just to get one tower. I just want something new that isn’t super grindy or repetitive
Fr, like hardcore is extremely outdated, i mean, i play it once every month or something I already have all hc towers, but yeah just feels very 2020-early 2021

This was the month when I started to actively play tds again. I stop during Christmas 2022 and started to get interest again during the overture event

TDS balance is still bad, devs keep failing to keep their promises, challenges being stupidly unbalanced, aswell as tds continues to steal shit from other games getting more drama. In terms of morality tds didnt change, but atleast it finnaly listened to community and now tries to add player retention

updates come will hundreds of bugs that take weeks to fix, and when said fixes come they bring forth more bugs. i know its due to the place override and stuff but they should have given the testers more time to do their job and actually test the game.
the new updates suck. come at me if you want, but EVERY, and i mean every, update so far has just been the same content over and over again:
-rework that changes the meta in some way, or just add a completely new tower/feature that is broken op (brawler makes every enemy except major bosses a JOKE, merc base is just busted. dont get me started with consumables)
-deluxe skins (i think there is more deluxe skins than basic ones now lmao)
-bugs
-more bugs
-fix some bugs, causing more bugs
-give testers no time because "weekly updates omg yay!"
tds rn is in really bad shape, every update breaks the game in terms of gameplay experience and just the general "balancing". the ONLY good thing that came in recently imo was the commander rework, but no, it got ruined by children complaining about the 40s cooldown and its basically the EXACT same as the old one. the game has been getting more and more boring as updates release, which means something is up, maybe its the fact everything they add shifts the meta or is just gamebreaking in general. the current balancing of tds makes pre-nerf accel look balanced.
tldr: tds is doing bad rn, weekly updates were a mistake, issues upon issue every day are surfacing, game balancing is basically 0.

2. The game being so easy is literally why they are adding challenge maps, the fallen and hardcore rework.
3. The problem with the bugs isn't that testers don't get enough time, it's because the import system of roblox is so bad. It's not even their fault tbh

When tdx released a update which includes endless gamemode, new towers etc one of those is power ups,after the new update of tdx. tds did the same they added "consumables" and after that they released new gamemode "intermediate"

With TDX here, TDS did good updates, Adding Consumables ( Pretty Similar to The Abilities in TDX... ) , Reworking Commander because John Made his Own Game , Patient Zero ( Pretty Similar to Plague Doctor… ) , And Best NO WEIRD PEOPLE IN THEIR DEVELOPEMENT!

Theres alr a roblox td games that had powerups before tdx, patient zero had alr been teased on upd forecast(i know plague doctor alr exist in 2022 but still p0 has no similarity with plague doctor)
Ngl intermediate mode was more like an elite mode for tds than intermediate. yes molten was pretty chill, but just like in tdx, you needed good splash and high dps for the mode because of the amount of darn hordes

They’ve kinda gotten on the rise and downfall at the same time since, sure we get weekly updates and that’s more content, but these updates have caused things to become so easy with new towers being added and reworked and not updating modes Not to mention how many bugs that came after the classic ended, so much so that it was the most bugs that tds had in it’s entire history. Also with updates every week not many people will be able to explore the new content before another update is added.
