- Devil May Cry 4’s Platinum Trophy has completely DESTROYED and RUINED me…

Just saw that someone ‘clipped’ my video with the title, “IT’S FAKE” so I assume it’s about the trophy pops. Basically I don’t have a capture card so I use the built-in PS5 recording and take screenshots of the trophies as they pop which I then overlay on the video around where they popped so yeah just thought I should clear that up 😁
this is good but question is the DmC Devil May Cry platinum video done yet?
I’ve got all the footage in an ‘editing state’ I just haven’t had much time, but it will be out this week. Friday at the latest I believe 💪

@@RadTuba03 Yeah I bet it will be also did you like the game I kind of like it it's actually one of my favorite dmc games it's more underrated well the definitive edition is I don't know about the normal edition.
I can respect the struggle as I already Platinumed dmc5 and am working on dmc4, I already respect you more because you did dmc2. Which I'M NEVER GONNA FUCKING DO

Thanks man, they are probably the hardest I’ve had to get so far except for maybe RDR2 and GTA V but those are long rather than actually difficult

I realised that he was using royal guards whilst editing but I don’t understand how he can guard pandoras revenge 😂

When I play as him, he isn’t because I can’t even block against a normal enemy blade swing 🤣
You can actually parry everything with Royal Guard. Even the gigantic laser from the savior fight
This platinum destroyed even me just by watching and I don't even have DMC4 yet🤣 You did a good job! The rages always get me to laugh honestly, I've been there too (have the DMC3 plat and currently doing 1). Looking forward to the next video man, love this content!

Dmc3 plat was the most fun plat I've done honestly. Dmc4 seems impossible for me. I'm stuck at secret mission 8 bc I don't know how to play Dante 😭

@@RadTuba03 I still intend to do the secret missions in this game, I usually hate them lol but it's fun even though it's stressful
@Edblue666 the hardest one is probably the royal guard one and the only strategy I used in the end was just absolutely destroying the circle button to block 🤣

I am too, still are but this one I won't complete. I know my limits and age....this one is just for more skilled players. I am good with having all but 1 achievement in DmC 4.
Just finished DMC 4 today, the gameplay wasn't particularly bad or good, just ok, felt like a chore to play in some parts.
I liked the story though, was pretty cool.

Did I promise too much on your dmc1 video? Congratulations. This one is the most draining one in the entire series imo. Funny tho that I seem like the only guy who got all the S Ranks with Nero and Dante before finding out that trish and Lady were easier xD but ut prepared me well for DMC5! Good job on the Plat! Only 2 more to go.
Oh man, when I spoke to you about this platinum, I completely forgot about Bloody Palace.
DMC4 was my first game in the series, so I find myself kinder on it than a lot of others. But I agree those trophies are really stressful, especially Untouchable.
I wish you luck with DMC5, that is the one platinum I haven’t gotten yet.
ALSO DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID IN TRYING TO GET LIVING LEGEND WITH VERGIL.
I got the platinum for DMC4SE before too. For those S rank missions on SoS, LDK, and DMD, I found it easier to do as Vergil.
Having to do the Bloody Palace as Trish was sooo hard, especially dealing with Blitz demons...
Yep, Trish is practically useless against blitz demons

I did all the platinums last summer and ended with dmc4, it was honestly way easier than i expected. The S ranks are super brute-forceable due to the very lenient time restrictions. The only part of the game i had a genuine struggle with was Trish bloody palace, but when i did beat it as her, i was lucky enough to get the no damage with it.
Did you buy the nero/dante/vergil super costumes before this run or did you grind through dmd with them to unlock them?
also i'd love to see you do dmc5, that one is the hardest in my opinion, but the most rewarding platinum :)
I’ll be honest, I was getting pretty sick of DMC 4 and the super costumes were on sale for like £1 so I just took that shortcut because at the end of the day I wasn’t really enjoying it anymore and would not have been able to put myself through those extra playthroughs considering this took a month to get anyway.
Can’t wait to do DMC 5 after DmC: Devil May Cry though 💯

I'm motivated to play dmc4 again
I have the good old 360 version and am missing one achievement which I will never get: All S ranks on DMD mode. No idea how i managed to do all the others 13 years ago but I sure as hell couldn't now in my fourties when I dusted off the old 360 to finish up a couple of uncompleted games. Also no trish in the original version so no chance in hell of making it easier with her.
Yeah, Lady and Trish come in clutch for those S ranks
Bin thinking about going for the plats on hd collection I have the disc version for PS3 would it be the same to just play that or would it be better or easier or does the game play better if you run it on PS4/5?
I think they both play at 60fps but I believe the ps4 version runs at 1080p resolution whereas ps3 runs at 720p. They will fundamentally play the same except ps4 has a higher resolution 💪
So it is really up to you

Dmc 3 and 4 have some of the most frustrating enemy design I’ve ever dealt with. Fun games, but they really deter me from wanting to play them when I know I’ll have to fight the fallen, the shield enemies, enigmas, chimaeras, the things that pop up on the floor and reset your progress, the savior, and that’s just off the top of my head
Yeah the enemies are the worst part which is a shame considering they’re integral to the gameplay experience 🙃

Honestly man, I’m playing DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition now and because of all the pain DMC 4 put me through, I’m enjoying DmC more even with the strange story beats shall we say
i have started dmc 4se a long time ago but it's so hard i stop at mission 12

Honestly it will save so much time
Yeah DMC 1 is hard but it is quite easy as you don’t have to do any S-ranks or bloody palace it’s just completing the game on all difficulties and getting all the files on enemies so it is *relatively* chill
Doing this with Lady and Trish makes it so much easier beside Blitz with Trish they are annoying
And those bloody Blitz enemies as Trish can be tough but I eventually found out a strategy which came in handy for bloody palace where I had to fight 2 at once

There nothing wrong with dmc reboot yeh sure it’s not the Dante we all grown to love but it’s still good like the combat imo

It’s not that bad at all imo. Well at least before the platinum. Gameplay is solid, story is ok, music is good so it’s alright in my books
it's just an unfinished game.
@thomasfleetwood4727 the platinum got boring after a while though because as you said it was unfinished so playing through basically the same half of the game twice each playthrough was dead
understandable. it's the reason dmc4 is the game I return to least in the franchise. and that's including 2. but it's not an all round bad game, either. alot of great gameplay in here.
