Beeing from Norway, I find it SO facinating that you can plant stuff outside and expect it to grow through the winter. I learn so many new things when I watch you guys. Seeing your toddler entertaining his older siblings is SO adorable, and I'm looking forward to se him as a big brother next summer ;-) Have a lovely pre-Christmas time!
I have learned that my everbearing strawberries only produce a few runners while my june bearing has produced tons. I ran out of places to put them so I just give it away to my neighbors. I love all your videos and always wait for them :) - N. Cali zone9b
Thank you for sharing the process you followed with the garlic. I grew garlic for the first time this year, neglected to plant it in the fall, and found out I could place it in the fridge for a few weeks (I had it in for 8) and plant it in the spring. Some grew full size but at least half were small. I ended up with about 2 1/2 lbs, which I was still pretty happy with considering I only planted 2 heads of garlic. So, now I'm hooked on home grown garlic and I'm using it more often in recipes. Anyway, thanks again for always being willing to share new things you try. Since I'm late planting garlic and was going to be doing that in the next couple of days, I'll be following the process too 😊.

Looks about the same age and size as my cat was when he turned up and decided he wanted to live with us. He was also very friendly despite that it was obvious that he had not lived in a house - he'd clearly never seen cat food, toys or heard music or seen TV. Anyway, cats decide for themselves, so treat the kitten nice and maybe feed it over the winter as there won't be so much wild food. Mine does an EXCELLENT job of controlling all rodents including (multiple) hares bigger than he is!
Here in SoCal we are almost done with the transition from hot to cold season crops. It means that things are very messy, so like you I am cleaning and organizing the garden. While we don’t do cover drops, I do a lot of pruning of vines like passion fruit and sweet potatoes. It works like a nice green manure for the forest garden.
Thank you for the trick on the garlic ❤ I purchased some from the store "just to see what happens" and I just followed what others I e seen so. If I don't have luck... I'll definitely try this next year😊 Thank you for all you do❤❤❤

QUESTION; Where did you get the zippers for you high tunnel? We have the frame on ours up, but have not started on the plastic. I think the zippers would be better than making swinging doors on each end. God bless y'all and keep growing.

Hi Nancy! We bought the entire end wall as part of a kit from Farmers Friend. It came with zippers attached.
What tarps are you using?
