Precisely. It annoys me that some people think this episode is in sequence, and that Claire was written out of the episode on purpose, even though the *TRUTH* is that Claire hadn't yet been created and cast when this episode was filmed, and they in fact replaced Alison Rice, who plays Fuller, with Salvator Xuereb's (the guy who plays the electronics genius who's trying to help the Nazis win the war) then wife, Cristi Conaway, as Claire Hemmings. By blonde girl do you mean 'Claire Hemmings' as played by Cristi Conaway? This episode was actually the original pilot for the show, but for whatever reason Allyson Rice was replaced (I'm guessing they filmed the reference to Hemmings after the bulk of this episode was already in the can). I guess they felt the chemistry between Allyson Rice and Ted King wasn't working, so they replaced her. By the way, the evil scientist guy who collaborates with the Nazis is played by Salvador Xuereb, who was at the time married to Cristi Conaway. I'm guessing he must have recommended his then wife to the producers. Anyway, it's a shame Cristi wasn't in this particular episode as it would have been interesting to see the blonde, blue-eyed Ms Conaway dressed as a Nazi in the Alternative Future.
