- Whether you're a fervent follower of fashion trends or simply appreciate the artistry of the runway, there's always something intriguing to discover. In today's video, I delve deep into the latest and greatest fashion trends of 2024, meticulously compiled and cross-referenced from trend reports by seven leading style sources including Vogue Runway, British Vogue, Stylecaster, Glamour, Who What Wear, Elle, and Fashion.
My goal is to break these down and present the top chosen trends across all platforms. We'll explore clothing trends and then delve into forecasted trends for shoes, accessories, and colour!
Over the years, I've honed my ability to discern whether a trend is right for me or not. Though I don't strictly follow trends in my personal life, I find a wealth of inspiration in them. I hope to share that inspiration with you in this video. Please bear with me on pronunciation - between a stuffy nose and a Canadian accent, some names can be a challenge!

Hello. I just found your channel. This was such a refreshing take on introducing the 2024 trends. You are very articulate in your presentation. It would be great to see how you take these trends and show styles that the majority of your viewers would actually wear. I realize the runway shows are about showing their designs in the most artistic ways, but be real. Most of us will not be wearing these exact looks, let along be able to afford them.
I would love to make that video! I find it so fun to see these super art driven pieces and then when I'm shopping spot how they've filtered down to the high street! Thanks for the idea and for watching!

I'm so glad to see a movement away from masculine or gender neutral styles. I'm starting to be able to find more things I like when I go to stores, rather than being lucky to find one good thing after exploring 5-6 stores!
That's a great observation actually! You're definitely right about a more fitted and feminine tailoring. For me I've discovered that a structured shoulder looks great but maybe not so much the super oversized. It's so interesting do this year after year now to really note those changes. Sadly I bought it in 2022 (www2.hm.com/fr_ca/productpage.1105730003.html) but maybe some inspiration to find a ribbed dress or top similar. One of my favourite knitted dresses of ALL TIME is actually a different one from DISSH (bit.ly/42Xi4yX) whenever I wear it I feel so good and get loads of compliments. It's got a great weight and comes in 3 different shades as well as a V and a U neck. I believe they also have this kind of piece in just the top form too! Hope this helps a little! 🤍

I think so too! Honestly I think in 2024 it's all about everyone figuring out what their personal style is. Trends are fun inspiration but the goal is just to feel completely "you" in your outfits!

Big bags are definitely my lifestyle choice! I love the trends...especially the Girl Core and Shimmer & Shine! Classics have always been my staple but I love to add one piece of "Girlie". Now I feel as if I can be a bit more full-blown Girlie. Adore the Shimmer & Shine to add to my classics for a complete twist on my day wear! Capris are in my "never" category however.

This year hilariously it's both! I think for our ready to wear wardrobes it's going to be more about those elevated basics and that fun twist on tailoring. But on the flip side when it comes to designers showing their creativity it's about those artisan craft pieces. Often times the "trends lists", I have found anyways, like to contradict because it's a compilation of different minds and creatives! I think the key with trends is taking what speaks to you and running with it 🥰
