I received four fig types today! Do exciting! Watched the video on how to root properly. All done. Will be waiting for roots now! Thank you for sharing these cuttings. We got the Marseilles black, ol' yeller, black mission and gramdpas fig. So excited! There were mostly three cuttings for each variety! Thank you so much! I hope they will all grow well here in Florida

I love fig prerserves and grow an old variety my Dad got from his Dad. Everyone who try's them absolutely love them. They have a "purple" color when ripe. The problem I have is the birds like them also.
Anyone new, I recommend White Madeira, Martinenca Rimada, Figo Preto (AKA Black Madeira AKA Craven's Craving), and Marseilles Black VS. I got some cuttings last year and I was lucky enough to choose good ones but missed out on Martinenca Rimada and White Madeira. Enjoy!

I placed a few orders. Very excited to see which varieties I get. I missed last years, because I waited too late to order and wasn’t sure which varieties to get. This year, I still wasn’t too sure on the varieties, but think I picked some good ones. :)
Never had fresh figs before this past year!! Then I found two trees growing untended on a trip to our Baja vacation home, and indulged straight off the tree. Previous experience was limited to Fig Newtons!!! Not quite the same!! After following your videos over the summer, I air layered and rooted some cuttings of each, and I'm looking forward to this spring. I'll also be following your vids on pruning the original trees, which are probably 30-40 years old. So I'll likely be ordering some IVO. I already garden a large variety of veggies, and formerly owned one of the largest tree nurseries in Baja, mostly palms, but for some reason never got into figs. I'm seriously considering growing a wide variety, since the climate here is ideal, and have many contacts in the nursery and agricultural community in MX. As elsewhere, not a wide variety currently available.
I just found your channel. I planted my first fig last spring. It's a Brown Turkey. I've never had a fresh fig right off the tree. Hoping for some this year.
I got my fig cuttings 3 weeks ago and they've been in perlite/vermiculite mix for 2 weeks and the Paul's strawberry verte has started budding small leaves, can't see roots yet, but the Hilda's honey green is amazing and the roots are taking over like crazy with decent leaves! I'm not seeing any progress on my TFG-266 Aoibheann's Abundance.
Hello Ryan, Great news with the Hilda's Honey Green & Strawberry Verte-- 2 very good fig varieties! As the days get longer and warmer, TFH variety may wake up... if not, rooting figs is not a 100% success process. Hopefully 1-2 make it this year to become fruit bearing trees by next year, as you root some new varieties next year, and each year thereafter! Keep us posed on your fig growing successes! What is the grandpa samaan green fig? Where can I find out about what kind of fig it produces? Both of my fig cuttings rooted and have made nice plants.

I've received a raspberry and a strawberry cutting, the raspberry tasted like jelly, unfortunately the strawberry didn't make it. Then all my fig trees markers faded and now I don't know who's who. I have 4 varieties now, I live in zone 5, high desert country

Guess i have no chance because i am not on facebook or twitter or any other platforms i have never tasted a fig off a tree before . I am a newbe i rescued a fig tree at walmart that was dieing on the clearance shelf so i now have a unkown fig variety growing in my backyard and it has figs on it
