Kader Khan was the most talented artist in Hindi cinema. He was an all rounder. Scriptwriter and dialog - he was up there with Salim and Javed. Then played menacing villain and as a comedian there is no match to him. Absolute legend

Totally agree. I look at Jaisi karni... as part of a fabulous trilogy of family drama collaboration between the Great Kader Khan ji , Govinda ji, and Shakti Kapoor ji put together by Vimal Kumar ji
To me he was the central character in all three movies.
Another amazing performance was Kaala Bazaar. Especially his confrontation scene with Jackie Shroff ji. Amazingly dramatic.
      He was amazing

Its a crude reality a man with such talent was never recognized either by the Bollywood or the government. At a very young age i became a fan of Khader Khan Sir, i thoroughly enjoyed his stint as an actor in movies like 'Baap Numberi Tho Beta Dus Numberi' , 'Dulhe Raja' ,'Coolie No1' to mention a few.I believe he was a very simple and humble man and didn't care much about the glitz and glamour that Bollywood is famous for.A great actor who will be missed forever.

So much of struggle in his life, n still studied to be an engineer n post graduate , adversity teaches us more than we can imagine , so inspiring Kader Khan's story. Jagriti has been for years a beautiful stage for artists. Love the fact Kader Khan didn't give up acting n writing plays. Thank you Rahoul you sure pick out the best nuggets of Bollywood.

I'm super impressed to know that he was a PHD holder and had taught civil engineering. That's so amazing. Unfortunately education doesn't count in #Bollywood
Btw that was a great review about #KaderKhan however, u never talked about his personal life. I believe the trauma he received during his last years became the cause of his death. He left the world with a heavy heart!

Although I never met him personally, I was fated to be part of his last journey and attended his funeral in Canada. I also had the opportunity to meet his sons. Sadly, no one including the likes of Amitabh Bachchan & Govinda with whom he shared a tremendous rapport reached out to his family in their hour of grief.

I think he played every role very convincingly. Because, he was a writer, he could understand acting very well. His acting in “Himmatwala” was very high quality. In fact, the movie became popular because of his character. “Baap Numberi, Beta dus-numberi” was again a masterpiece. In-spite, of so many actors, he played that role to perfection. Again, he was brilliant in “Angaar”. A small role in “ Muqadar Ka Sikander” had such a huge impact. His work behind the scenes that went unnoticed and his actors got acknowledged for his contributions. Such an amazing talent. His was an institution in himself. Whether it was Amitabh or Rajesh Khanna or Govinda or Jackie or anyone else, they got credit for Kader Khan’s work. He was straightforward and in spite of being part the industry for so long, this industry couldn’t change him. He lived and worked on his own terms. The only person who could challenge him was Mehmood. Such a great talent! .

Notable actor and dialogue writer . Used to always spot him standing in his balcony in Hasnabad lane , Santa Cruz West . Bollywood rewarded him with plenty of movies in various roles yet moved on without him later on . Solitary Kader Khan passed away in far flung Canada only with his sons alongside in his final moments.

Rajinder Singh bedi is basically a prominent Urdu short story writer. He had also written a novelet "Ek chadar maili si". He wrote plays for All India Radio in Delhi then moved to Mumbai & started writing dialogues for films. Some of his memorable movies are Mirza Ghalib(1954), Devdas(1955), Madhumati(1558),Mere Humdam Mere Dost(1969).

Becoming a Masters in Engg., when there were no resources for fooding/ clothing etc. due to an abject poverty....is beyond one's imagination.
His hard work and concentration are the result of his determination to become 'something'.
Without becoming a criminal, he became an extraordinary human.... with most talented personality.

The number of dialogues spoken, written by Kaderji Saheb are immense and unaccountable, it is difficult to actually choose the best of them, for each was defined particular for that moment and time. Kaderji had a chest of knowledge of dialogues within him and they would spring out at the spur of the moment. We and the Bollywood have indeed lost a legend. Wonderfull video Rahul Kader khan mother was a great lady who inspire him to study, I salute her, range of his acting was very vast, as vallian, comedian, character mostly father roles, his most memorable in Himmatwala, this movie changed the trend of comedy pairing with Shakti kapoor, his peak period in South, during that time he was every in every south movie, like Amjad khan played tile role like Dada, many more, kadar too played titles role like Baap numberi bera dus numberi, Umar pachpan ki --- anyway he was great actor Played many memorable roles RIP.

Excellent story telling!!! Loved your narrative. Silly that I remember Kader Khan's mid 80s' comedy more than anything else. His pairing with Shakti kapoor and Govinda and acute humor still has no parallel. I remember the VHS days when at the beginning of the movie used to come 'Dialogue Kader Khan'!!! His dialogues had a larger than life touch which now i understand has been influenced by his association with the stage of the 70s!!!!
