NOTE: This video was produced and uploaded on November 11, 2022 but I began playtesting the method and drafting the script in early October. On November 22, 2022 (one day before this video was scheduled to be released) The Perilous Wilds saw a Revised Edition. My comments about The Perilous Wilds' dungeon creation method and the screen shots used in this video are based on the 2017 edition. The link in the description is for the 2022 Revised Edition.
Thanks Crap Phone! I went through a ton of design iterations on the worksheet before I even started laying it out in GIMP, then had several more as I tried to fit everything I wanted onto the page without it feeling cramped. I hope you get some good use out of it!
I'm glad you enjoy them Nathan! I already have December planned but haven't decided on what I'm doing in January yet. I'm thinking just a month of DW rules, going through all of the Basic Moves two per video. Unsure though...
Great video! Thanks for the tips about the dungeon card tools (I have the one you don't use; I do not have the other two). I also love the Perilous Wilds; I have been using the original for years (I just ordered the revised version yesterday). This is a neat mechanic, with the dungeon getting more perilous the deeper you go (kind of like dungeons getting more dangerous as you descend levels. Maybe when you get to second level you change the 'yes and' to a 'yes, but'; then when you get to the third level, you start with the first 'yes, but' crossed off, then the fourth level both 'yes, but's' are crossed off and so forth the deeper you go!
Thanks Captain Nolan! I like that idea about starting subsequent levels with an ever more "perilous" answer pool. Something I forgot to say in this one is that any Unique Area can be stairs (or something else) leading to the next level. I also added "Plot Points" (which you can see in the download for my Dungeon Worksheet) and in next Tuesday's video (yes Tuesday lol) which bridges Brianne's first solo session and and the upcoming dungeon, with the dungeon run coming on Wednesday!
The perilous wilds is probably the best fantasy supplement ever produced. It has literally everything you need in it to run a campaign and create dungeons and settings and everything else even names. Plus it comes in an adorable and handy little format that just screams use me. I really think it is the most information dense and best single supplement for any rules that I have seen in years of role playing. So yeah, I kind of like it. 😂
Perilous Wilds is by far my favorite DW supplement. Every table and every move is so well thought out! Sundered World is pretty cool too, and I just realized that maybe I should do a "5 Things..." video about it!
@RogueSkyPilot the three videos that followed this were all about prepping a dungeon for Brianne (Nov. 29, 2022) and then a two-part run of that Dungeon because it took longer than I expected (Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2022). I have not done another "Tools" video on the subject though.

The worksheet you created is excellent by the way!

Thanks for watching Paul!

@@SessionZero I look forward to it (Tuesday?!?).

Was there another video made about this?
