- Main goals of this shooting drill for carbine or rifle:
To find the balance between speed and accuracy when firing the carbine off-hand at combat (gunfight) speed at 50 yards. Тo verifies the efficiency of the Fire Control Triangle (stance, grip, and trigger control) at such speed with your AR-15.

I really have to put in work with my carbine the last few years I have been dedicated to my handgun and it has paid off but I'm lacking in rifle fundamentals

Thanks for the great video. For pistol, what range do you use?
Please follow the link for the complete description of the pistol version: tacticalperformancecenter.com/tpc-24-4/
Great training tip! What Carbine Drills do you recommend for those of us that primarily shot at indoor range that is limited to 25 yards?
On a separate note, I have to say that I'm no expert, but it seems that whenever I go to the range I seem I do better after following your tips. That was only possible by diligently watching all of your pistol skills lessons on-line and dry practicing with a G-Sight laser cartridge. Looking forward to training with TPC on of these days!
Can do the same drills with half sized targets. I like using index cards and drawing one inch squares. Easy to track results over time and writing notes on the sides.
You can do the TPC 24 from 15 yards using the TPC Rectangle target (you may download it from here: tacticalperformancecenter.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/TPC-24-Rectangle-Target.pdf
Every hit inside the gray area will bring 5 points, shots on the white area or outside the sheet of paper have a value of 0 points. Any Hit Factor over 10 will be very good! For Grand Master, you need to be 13 HF or above! Enjoy!
@@TacticalPerformanceCenter Thank you so much! You guys are the absolute best.
@@Quality_Guru Thank you! We strive for excellence 🙂
This is cool exercise. I practice it with my ak74, and best hf is 10.88. average is 9.7
I use paper targets to avoid analysing hit sounds. In this case you can better concentrate
Everything around 10 HF is very good! Everything over 10 is excellent! Great job 👍🏻
@@TacticalPerformanceCenter thanks, today was best 12.08.... but only once... Average is 10.4 now... Hope will try it with my ar in few months, but now only with ak74...
@@TacticalPerformanceCenterwas few months ago at home, tried to shoot from my ar15:) after ak74, hitfactor was 15 :) my best student shoot it with 16.21, but he still training with ar:)
